Link the Animals

Link the Animals is a ripoff of a basic mobile game template using Unity. It's a simple puzzle game where you put your finger on an object and trace a path to the other object in that pair, and repeat the process without running over any of the existing paths. I've played a few games using this same Unity template. A few reviewers have commented that they think this is malware because of high CPU and GPU usage, although I couldn't verify that, so I'll jump to the developers aid here and suggest it's just really badly optimised, but then what do you expect for a mobile app that's been lazily dumped on Steam, possibly because the app stores wouldn't take it because of some strange thing they have called "QA". Anyway, lulzy bad mobile app tier game/asset flip kind of stuff, you can play this kind of thing free on mobile, so why bother paying for this one on Steam?

Link the Animals is a puzzle game in which you have to connect all matching animals. The challenge is that the connecting lines must not overlap and the space is limited. So it's basically a classic Nonogram puzzle (like Paint it Back and Draw Puzzle), but without a fixed length for the lines. There are five difficulty settings which each contain a decent amount of levels. The easiest is good to learn the principle of such games and to teach kids some logic thinking. People who have played these kind of games before can start with one of the hardest difficulties. The game is very enjoyable and addictive. The only downside is that you'll notice the loops of the music track (which can be muted). But your 0,79 € will still be well spent.

Increase my CPU usage to 90%. Suspect of cryptominer or malware. For a 'flash' game that is really suspicious.

I don't know why a game of this look and function will use 50% of my CPU and 90% of my GPU, but I do not trust it.

3/10 as basic as they come - only 4 in game sounds used over and over

Tudo bem que é um jogo infantil e feito por um estúdio indie, mas ainda falta otimização no desempenho do jogo, não sou muito adepto de utilizar engines tão completas para jogos tão simples, deixando o jogo com mais de 150MB quando instalado sendo que poderia estar ocupando até menos de 2MB e sem muito consumo de recursos. Também acho que a jogabilidade é muito melhor em touch que em mouse, mas vi que foi compilado para aparelhos portáteis, que se adequam melhor. É um jogo puzzle divertido pra quem gosta do estilo.
