Square Word: Summer Edition is developed by CCS (Cold Coffee Studio) COCO will be your guide in this new edition. The concept is simple: link adjacent letters to form words, but those words must fit the length requested at the bottom of the level. You also must empty the board so that no letter is left. The tricky part is that some words may have different directional possibilities so even though the word may be correct, it's possible that you have chosen the wrong directional path and it may leave letters that can't be connected. You have 4 Sunny themes: Beach, Vacation, Camping & Ocean. 4 Difficulties: Easy, Medium, Hard & Very Hard. Difficulty increases gradually. Pros: * 140+ Words to find * Handcrafted grids * Music complements the game * Daily challenge * Collect Stamps with extra objectives and receive rewards * Hints-Both letter & word * 12 Achievements * Additional songs Cons: * The sporadic drop of the envelope in the main menu to grab 1 Hint in an effort to proceed can take time to drop * No trading cards Final Thoughts: This is kind of an easy and sometimes difficult game and quicker hints would be nice. [h1]IT'S COOL TO BE SQUARE![/h1] Square Words is a game that requires you to make themed words from various-sized grids of letters. You can create words horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, in most cases it's a combination of all 3 directions. There are four categories, Vacation, Beach, Camping, and Beach. Each category has three Easy 3x3 grids, three Medium 4x4 grids, and three Hard 4x4 grids. (The words do seem to change each time you replay) There is also a Daily Game and a Mixed 6x6 category in a Very Hard mode.   At the bottom of the grid are several blank squares of varying amounts. It's up to you to figure out individual words related to the current category. The tricky part is that some words may have different directional possibilities so even though the word may be correct, it's possible that you chose the wrong directional path because it may leave letters on outer edges that can't be connected. There are two different Hint types. The first hint fills in the first letter of one word. The second type gives you the correct word, but it's still up to you to figure out the directional path. Additional Hints can be earned by playing the Daily Game, or by completing Achievement Stamp objectives. You will earn 1 hint per objective, such as completing one Daily Grid game. Word Hints are earned when you complete three objectives. A great classic puzzle with themed level sets. It's bright, colorful and full of variety. Plenty of hints if you get stuck too!

Furthermore, multiple meaningful words are included in each level, adding complexity. When players successfully form a word, the letters used in the word are removed from the grid, so at the end of each level, your grid should always be empty. I don’t know why the devs have limited themselves by making a “Summer Edition” instead of making a game with all the different themes. I’d have loved the addition of these unique theme levels. This fun game offers 4 summer-based themes (Vacation, Ocean, Beach, Camping) and comes with 3 levels for each difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard), plus a bonus "Categorymix" category which has 1 "very hard" puzzle for each of the 4 themes. The concept is simple: link adjacent letters to form words, but those words must fit the length requested at the bottom of the level; in addition, you must empty the board so that no cell/letter is left. To me, the challenge is twofold: one, figuring out what words you must "build" and two, making sure you pick the right cells so that you don't block yourself and lose the possibility of linking the remaining letters you need. Colourful graphics, and a nice help system to help you earn more hints if you need them. A nice diversion from the "typical" word games!

So this is an interesting word game. Similar to the Wordle games on Steam. Decent enough.

A fun, progressively harder, engrossing, frustrating but satisfying word game! I got 100% and worked hard for it! Worth the $$.

This is a high quality word puzzle game for what I think is a fair asking price. The art is bright and refreshing with continuous pleasant music, sound effects, and enjoyable puzzle game play. It's accessible to different skill levels or exploration. As someone who really enjoys word puzzles, I really enjoyed this, and if this game is your preferred genre you're going to love it. There is plenty of content imo.

Puzzle lovers, have you checked out Square Word yet? This one has a lovely summer theme (ocean, beach, holiday) and I love the art style.
