About
The purpose of this game is to lead a group of 16 Newbinis from where they're being held to a beautiful valley where they can live in peace. You do this by solving logic puzzles based on the group of Newbinis you decided to take as well other combinatorics puzzles.
**This is inspired by, and a love letter to, the old Zoombinis game.
You first select a group to traverse the land with.

Then you are taken to the map, which you proceed across, solving puzzles along the way.

At the end, your group is safe! That doesn't mean you can rest easy, however, because there are still more to free. You go back to the Jail Cell and begin the journey again, maybe taking a different path than before.
12 different puzzles
Each puzzle has 4 difficulty levels
The final village has trophies and buildings you can construct by saving more and more Newbinis - trophies are obtained by beating each puzzle perfectly on each difficulty

This game takes a strategy to a whole new level by blending smart puzzle mechanics with a twist - clothing patters. Most characters you control wear similar outfits but never a duplicate. And those patterns are not just for looks; they are the key to keep moving forward for most puzzles. At its core, this is a fun strategy game, but the way it utilizes different clothing patterns to keep moving forward, whether you are matching patters, using them to trigger certain actions, or having to figure out a puzzle you will constantly need to think ahead and experiment with different combinations. The game also does not just settle into a routine either. After solving a puzzle a number of times, the game evolves- introducing new difficulty for each puzzle keeping the game play fresh, engaging, and challenging you keeping you always on your toes. If you're into games that make you use your brain and don't mind things getting trickier as you go, this game is one totally worth checking out!
Ok, so this is an ode to Zoombinis. Mostly the first game, but there might be some later puzzles I'm not familiar with. For Zoombinis players the main puzzle differences are a combination guesser and minesweeper in place of the frog crossing and the crystal picture matching puzzle. Other than that it's mostly an order shuffle. The move I'm least pleased with would be putting the ferry puzzle on the mandatory path. But that's because I'm not a fan of that particular style of puzzle, to the point where it reduces the amount of variation in my newbini team picking. The other main difference is the inability to stockpile newbinis at the rest points beyond 48.
