invert option it inverts both y axis and x axis. you should fix it lmao
I love this game. Some of the anomalies are so subtle, and some are outright scary. I keep playing it and trying to get all the anomalies. I love it so much I just want more lol
A very fun anomaly game set in a similar aesthetic as the Backrooms' level poolrooms! There are 3 levels, each with their little sublevels. Each level has about 20 anomalies, with a random chance of popping up. My biggest critique is that a majority of these anomalies are really in your face and easy to spot. Which doesn't have to be a bad thing, but I prefer a bit of a challenge. My other critique is, that as an achievement hunter, these last few anomaly specific achievements were a pain to get due to the RNG. Most of the anomaly games out there have it set so that found anomalies won't show up until you have seen every type of anomaly. It makes finding them all less frustrating so you don't have to repeat the same level hundreds of time. Unfortunately, I had to sit there for hours in hopes of getting the 3 anomalies needed for it. So overall still a solid game, I liked its style, it has enough content for what it is and I do not regret getting it. A nice mix of anomalies and Backrooms, unsettling but not with monsters or jumpscares. Does not have a lot of replayability which is okay. Might be a pain to 100% if you like achievements so keep that in mind. QOL changes I'd like to see: - Ability to remove the crosshair - Option to lower the volume in game - Fixed RNG so anomalies don't repeat until you've seen all of them at least once
Perfect
Loved it! i dont know why it has mixed reviews, its beautiful and its short enough for people who dont have a ton of patience but long enough if you go for all the achievements and endings. it took 2.4 hours for me to get two endings. i only have 5 of the 8 trophys. if you really want to make it long go ahead and play on hardcore, as for me i played hardcore once before switching back to normal, i do not have the stamina for that. i got all the way to the final level before messing up and getting sent to the beginning. all the bad reviews for its length must have been bad ending players on normal mode. Normally i dont play mixed review games but i saw caseoh play it and decided WTH imma give it a go. PLEASE give this game the justice it deserves. Play it and rate it.
Nice short and fun.
it was fun, chill, quick experience, i beat it in 30m, it was a bit unoptimized tho, it was lagging at some parts, but apart from that it was alright
This is an "Exit 8" style game but directly inside of liminal style levels. and frankly it kinda works. the oddities and dangers found every time you run through the level feels more coherent. This is not a liminal game but really a good "backrooms game" mixed with the "exit 8" style gameplay. The anomalies feel more coherent here than in dead end exit 8 because they oftentimes feel like they fit into the liminal setting. Similiar to "dead end exit 8" you dont feel like the game is as liminal on the later levels because you are trying to get through them and by this point you know how to get through them. This game also lets you mess around and encounter every anomaly that can happen. it's a game that respects your time and lets you see all it has to offer. recomend.
I rather liked this anomaly finder game, though I would have liked to see more levels than just three that explore various other liminal spaces besides the pools and water slides trope. Fair warning, though, the Invert Mouse setting inverts BOTH the X and Y axis, so bear that in mind. If you're an invert Y-axis player like me, it will be necessary to hook up a controller and change the Steam level controller settings if you don't want your X-axis being inverted as well. Performance warning: the last level is partially flooded, which tanks performance on mid-range PCs like mine. The dev said they addressed this, but at the time of playing this, it still performs quite poorly only in this level, even at lower quality settings.
