good ahh game

This is just great. I like the "zen" feeling which comes with farming games. Still some of these games come with a feeling of pressure of completing tasks to progress. This game delivers a feeling even the first couple of hours using "low-tech" equipment of complete serenity and accomplishment. The world is beautifully crafted. The different biomes complement eachother and truly have an unique feeling. For some reason i find myself walking around in the mechsuit just because i can. The soundtrack complements this feeling of freedom. Sow crops, water crops and farm them. Don't feel like doing it right away? That's just fine! Walk around, chop down trees or collect ore. Do what you want. No timers, no feeling of "having to do anything today" As a working man putting in 40+ hours a week at work i find myself loving the opportunity to unwind. I built myself a lovely little farmhouse with a balcony. At the start of the day i have a view of the fields and actually take the time to just enjoy for a moment. This is no technical review i know. I am not discussing framerate, use of graphics and or skill-trees or ingame economies. I am just saying this is a game that makes you feel like everyday is a new beginning and the world is at your feet. Isn't that what gaming is about? Just a small escape of everyday hustle. Anyway, enough hippie talk. I really recommend this game to whomever wants a relaxing farming game with a few lovely implements mechanics. The crop-rotation mechanic ensures you keep thinking, but not too much :) The farm animals take care of themselves mostly and petting and feeding is enough. The resources are plentifull and you never get the feeling you're "running out" Of course i will always hope for continued effort from the devs and perhaps new content in the future. But for now it is enough and it plays like a ray of sunshine for those who can enjoy this genre.
