About
Solarpunk is a survival game in a technologically advanced world of floating islands. Alone or together with 4 friends, you can construct buildings, grow food, craft gadgets and explore distant islands with your own airship.
Use sunlight, wind and water to create an energy system and automate your processes like gathering resources and watering your plants.
Design your dream home base with a wide range of materials and decorations. You’re free to build cozy spaces, add tiny details, and make your island feel just like home.
These buildings were crafted by our amazing community in the demo!

Generate electricity using wind and solar energy. Weather conditions affect how much energy you produce, so you’ll need to plan ahead. Store energy in batteries and use wireless power to keep your base running smoothly.

Play solo or with friends. Everyone has their own inventory, and you can decide whether to build something together or create your own little corner in the sky.

In Solarpunk, you live in symbiosis with animals. There is no exploitation, only coexistence. Pigs, for example, will dig up truffles if treated well. Growing fruits and vegetables is your main source of food. Plant seeds in the ground and harvest them once they’re fully grown.

Automate your tasks using transport drones to gather resources, giving you more time to build and explore your skybound home.

Each player can build their own airship. Use it to travel to surrounding islands and discover new resources.

In the current era of survival crafting games, asking me to refill my watering can is tantamount to a war crime. What seemingly sets this survival crafting game apart from others is 1) A wide variety of machines that help automate tasks and 2) A wide range of building options. However, getting to either one is a slog. Its truly very boring trying to progress through early game. Where other games would alleviate this by allowing you to just mindlessly explore while machines did their thing, This game limits you to a tiny amount of land masses with no Points of Interest. It seems the intent of this game was the house building and decorating, but all that fun stuff is so out of reach for early players. Hopefully some updates will rebalance things or improve the early game, because I am interested in this game. But with the current boring state of mining, farming, wood gathering and "fishing" (worst implementation of fishing I've ever seen), I cannot recommend this game until they change some stuff around.
I really wanted to like this game. The trailers were put together amazingly. The rest of the game? Not so much. Solarpunk feels like it's barely ready for early access, let alone a full release. If all you want to do is craft buildings visually, maybe this game is for you, but otherwise there's no point to anything. The story? You're alone on an island (or with a friend) and you build an airship.... only to find a robot who offers zero conversation and just wants you to trade with him. The things he wants? Only obtainable on individual islands that you need to visit 1-2 times ever to setup a mining node or gather a unique plant to take home. There's zero incentive or drive to actually want to progress through the upgrade tree. Okay so your base. There's hunger/thirst/health, some survival aspects? Not really. The initial berries you get are enough to sustain you forever. You can build up gardening and watering, but it's kind of pointless because the only time you need to actually grow is to meet one time trade requirements per plant. The rest of agriculture is just optional, or for the equally pointless husbandry. Some decor requires gardening mats but that's it. Setting up large farming rigs with water would have been interesting if there was a larger goal behind it. 90% of what you unlock from the research table are decor/cosmetic only. The power management seemed fun from the trailers. There even was an early stage where you have to juggle solar panels and batteries to make your pointless agricultural setup run 24/7. That was fun, for about an hour until you unlock wind turbines which technically ebb & flow in power output, but only +/-10% of their efficiency and essentially fully make solar and batteries obsolete. Your next wind upgrades? The final energy unlock in the game doesn't even require any of the advanced materials or components you learned how to make along the way. It's just basic wood & iron. I regret buying the game for $22. It feels more like a $5-10 game in its current state.

game is extremely tedious specifically love how if you lose or crash your airship you are forced to sit there for 5 real life minutes while you wait for it to return. no, you can't walk away and do anything else during that timer. the developer thinks making you spend 300 actual real life seconds doing nothing but staring at the screen is good game design the whole game is like that, really. stack size is tiny to artificially deflate your inventory size, buildings can't pull resources from nearby chests, etc. It's like the devs saw other cozy survival crafting games and decided what they really needed was more tedium
不好玩,很枯燥,一直在重复劳动,3个小时一直在造镐子和挖矿
Not worth the full price, finished the game in about 13hrs and it felt like something was missing. A lot of bugs when it comes to multiplayer (I sometimes had to rejoin the game to be able to play, and use the airship. The "unstuck my airship" feature was annoying, the airship spawned 3000m up in the air and I had to wait for a while as it returned, as well as our own customized characters and airships wasn't visible to friends, we all just looked the same. Otherwise cute game, It's just missing gameplay and too many bugs for my liking.
