Really good story,if you like life is strange 1 and 2 you'll probably like this too and I think it stands on its own as well.
LIFE IS STRANGE TRUE COLORS True Colors ist etwas anders aber genauso bezaubernd! <333
Good game, if you want more LiS. I enjoyed the "main trio" but I felt a lot of the other characters were pretty forgettable. I didn't really care about them all that much. Alex is a pretty well written character, especially as she has large boots to fill after Max/Chloe. The Empathy power is interesting in concept, but kinda got old very fast. Emotions are cool, but you know what's cooler? The ability to rewind time or even telekenisis. I'm not opposed to a little whimsy but the whole LARP section made my face scrunch up a fair few times. A negative but major Spoiler:
The end council meeting felt very dumb where it was placed. Alex just got shot, fell down a huge hole, broke her ribs and navigated an abandoned mineshaft in the dark. She comes back to address her attempted murderer directly, freshly wounded, in front of a police officer who has a USB stick full of irrefutable evidence supporting Alex's claim... Nobody immediately jumped to call an ambulance, no one immediately was like "WTF Jed???" and people STILL doubted her. What was THAT???
I liked everything. Graphics are also amazing
Life is Strange: True Colors is easily one of my favorite story-driven games. From the moment I met Alex Chen, I found myself deeply invested in her journey. Alex is such a relatable and well-written protagonist, carrying years of pain, loneliness, and uncertainty while still trying to find a place where she belongs which somehow relates to me as well. One of the biggest highlights for me was the relationship between Alex and Ryan Lucan. Their connection felt natural, genuine, and heartwarming. Ryan's kindness, patience, and unwavering support made every interaction between them feel meaningful. Watching their relationship grow throughout the story was one of the most enjoyable parts of the game, and their chemistry felt authentic rather than forced. That relationship of theirs is literally what I see in my relationship so it just reflected back to seeing me and my partner in them. The story itself is beautifully written. Alex's past is heartbreaking, and learning more about her struggles made me empathize with her even more. Gabe's presence in the story was especially impactful. Even after his death, his influence continues to guide Alex, and the way the game explores grief, family, and healing is incredibly emotional. Every revelation about Alex's history added more depth to her character and made her growth throughout the game feel rewarding. Haven Springs is also one of the most charming locations I've experienced in a video game. The town feels alive, the characters are memorable, and the atmosphere creates a sense of comfort that perfectly complements the emotional narrative. It actually made me want to live in Haven Springs as well especially as someone who loves nature. Overall, this game is absolutely worth playing.
Great game
Why r we GENUINELY hating on such a beautiful game?? Yes, the main character isn’t part of the MAIN life is strange plot (as in, Chloe Rachel n Max) BUT Steph is kind of a part of that. We meet her first at Blackwell, we can choose to play D&D w her n Mikey as Chloe n we see her more later in the game SO TECHNICALLY if we focus on the fact that she’s in it, then the game doesn’t deserve the backlash. It portrays emotions n feelings beautifully n I love how u can find little things in each chapter that contribute to a character’s backstory n mental wellbeing n overall memories. Also, LET’S BE HONEST. None of us were shipping Ryan n Alex, at least most of us. I felt like Alex got Ryan more than he got her?? Idk if that makes sense, honestly. I think the ONE problem was how we rushed into the sudden 180° of the plot. We were happy n then Jed was suddenly betraying us, we got to know the truth n we were also js so suddenly put in a life or death situation. I wish we would’ve gotten some more explanation to some of the ppl in Alex’s texts n who they were to her n what happened w some of them but other than that, it remains to be one of my fav life is strange game. Always will be.
I really liked the game as much as I liked the other games!
ストーリーがありきたりでつまらない。LISは新作出ても買わないな。 エンディングも何種類かあるけど対して変化ないし、単純に面白くない。
