Ein absolut packendes Adventure mit einer Protagonistin, die man sofort ins Herz schließt. Die Story um Alex Chen und ihre Empathie-Fähigkeit ist emotional, spannend und sieht in der Engine fantastisch aus. Die Entscheidungen haben spürbare Auswirkungen auf die Bewohner von Haven Springs – perfekt für mehrere Spieldurchgänge (auch wenn man mal die 'harte' Route testen will!). Ein besonderes Highlight der deutschen Fassung: Gronkh spricht den Polizisten Pike! ❤️ Seine Stimme passt perfekt zu dem Charakter und macht das Ganze für Fans noch viel persönlicher. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Great story, if I would change anything it's to have more of it. Perhaps fill in some of the gaps between chapters?

Beautiful game with great characters and soundtrack.

love the artstyle and storyline

The story itself is quite simple and the game feels rather smooth and safe overall. It lacks major narrative twists and doesn’t reach the emotional depth of the first Life is Strange. However, I still found many elements enjoyable. Visually, the game is beautiful and I personally didn’t encounter any bugs. The soundtrack isn’t particularly memorable but it remains pleasant and fits the atmosphere well. What stood out to me the most was the gameplay mechanic: the power based on emotions. As someone who is hypersensitive, I really connected with the idea of managing and feeling other people’s emotions as a central gameplay feature. It felt original and emotionally meaningful, even if not always fully explored. That said, compared to Life is Strange 1, the difference is clear. The original game had a strong nostalgic atmosphere and every character felt important and deeply tied to the story. In True Colors, everything feels more polished but also more superficial. The town is charming but the characters and the narrative lack the same intensity and memorability. Overall, I would rate the game around 7 to 7.5 out of 10. It’s not a must-play title but it is still a good and enjoyable experience. I would recommend it to fans of narrative-driven games who are looking for something gentle, emotional and visually pleasing just not something as powerful or unforgettable as the first Life is Strange. +1 the main character is really well written and I loved playing as Alex.
