Reviews
A nice game. Nice graphics, the town looks amazing and the cast is fairly diversified personality-wise. Voice acting is a bit mixed - Alex in particular is probably the weakest performance - not to say her voice is bad (she has a good singing voice), just less believable and engaging in the context she is in. **STORY AND GAMEPLAY REVIEW**
The game starts strong by killing off Alex's brother, Gabe. However, the game doesn't make a good job making me care for him in the short time we have. It doesn't help that Alex is basically not caring of the whole situation, and doesn't show any emotions, despite her powers. Speaking of her powers, she is just an empath, with the ability to later absorb, remove or even change other people's emotions. I wish the latter were present from the beginning but it only shows at the very final scene of the game. The game is fun and makes me wanna invest in the friendship with Ryan and Steph, which you can actually do, but only after chapter 4. Before that, it's just a hint or foreshadowing with nothing major, and most of the stuff happening in the background. I'm surprised of how better the choice system works in the game compared to the original LiS. The choices DO actually matter this time, as they contribute to how many people will back you up in the final scene of the game. The problem is how unrealistic chapter 5 is. The plot villain is Jed - nothing to see here. The problem is how after being shot with a gun, falling down a pit TWICE, Alex is still alive. That aside, Alex manages to come back and confronts Jed... but no one believes her? She is literally bleeding and she is hurt. The only person that believes her by default, regardless of your choices, is Steph. Jed and the Silver Lady from the Evil Baddies Organization just say stuff to put Alex in the corner, when people know full well what happened. I understand why they are reluctant towards Jed who is seen as a town hero, but defending the Multibillion dollar company is just unrealistic. Also, even if you romance Ryan, you still need to earn his trust and he will think you romanced him to earn his trust to destroy his father. Like wtf? I've seen this in the original LiS where Chapter 5 is just a lot of exposition (mostly dreams and imagination sequences) to tie the loose ends. This game would have benefitted from having more than 5 chapters, maybe one focused on the relationship with Ryan and Steph and how they attempt to solve the mystery, instead of the mystery coming towards them, because the exposition and the mystery do feel a bit rushed towards the end. The game would have also benefitted from killing Gabe maybe later in the game, as (I'm really sorry to say this) becomes irrelevant real quick...

🌈 Life is Strange: True Colors:
Life is Strange: True Colors

Life is Strange

Très bon jeu et très sous-estimé
soo good i love it!
Life is Strange: True Colors definitiv positiv überraschen.
Good Game
<3
I enjoyed my time with True Colours. Even if the run time felt a touch too short, and the conflict felt like it was missing a certain punch, I enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere enough I was happy to play it and enjoy my time in Haven Springs.
