Life and Debt: A Real Life Simulator

There is no strategy involved in this game, all it does is regularly slap you with absurd negative events and fire you from your job almost weekly, no matter how 'high' the job security is. This is just an annoying frustration simulator and is the second time I am ever requesting a refund on steam.

Das Spiel wäre gar nicht so schlecht, wenn da nur nicht so viele Bugs wären. Ich kann das Spiel nie abschließen, weil das letzte Item nicht gezählt wird, der Aktienhandel ist so verbugt, dass man unendlich Cash generieren kann, was den Spaß verdirbt. Wäre cool, wenn das korrigiert wird. Solange kann ich das Spiel nicht empfehlen.

It´s just garbage. There is no challenge and there are sooooo many Bugs/Gliches in this Game. Like alway and everywere. I gave this game a chance and i regret it. 3 hours for nothing

This game is still buggy even after the recent updates.

If you want a real life simulator that's not like real life at all, this is the game for you. Pros: - Funny achievement names. - Rent goes up over time, mimicking cost-of-living increases. - Stock market can be lucrative (get in there early and watch it often!). - Lotto scratch-off tickets are like in real life -- you're basically wasting your money. (Except they cost WAY more in the game than you'd spend in real life). Cons: - You're fired. Constantly. Doesn't matter if job security is high or low, or if you're working a job that requires education... expect to be fired anywhere between 7 and 30 days (more commonly between 14 and 30). - If you're fired before payday, you get the pay you are owed. However, if you switch jobs before payday, it seems that you don't get the pay owed (or there was no pop-up stating as such, but it seemed to me that my cash didn't go up at all). So if you want to switch jobs but need the upcoming cash from the current job, time it well against paydays, and hope that the classifieds don't change before you switch. - You can't take on debt to get education. Haven't they heard of student loans? - The same events happen over and over. How many times can you "overuse" and "break" your TV, or fall down the stairs while on your phone? Apparently, quite a bit. - Taxes are brutal, especially when you're busy getting fired a lot. - The shop is buggy. It sometimes shows that you own things, other times it'll show a count of 0 until you buy it again, only to find out that you wasted your money. - You can't pause the game. "You can't pause real life!" is what it tells you... but since this isn't anything like real life anyway, how about a pause button? - There's a "save and exit" feature, but no autosave (which is a bummer... the game crashed on me in my first 30 minutes of playing so I completely lost that character). There's also no button to simply save without exiting; if you want to save, you're going to the main menu (thankfully it loads quickly). Too much of the gameplay is unsatisfying, so I don't recommend wasting your time with this game.

Very poor game.'This Grand Life' is MUCH better.
