Lies of P is a thrilling soulslike that takes the story of Pinocchio, turns it on its head, and sets it against the darkly elegant backdrop of the Belle Epoque era.

Fun game 11/10
The first half of the game is fun, but the second half is just too hard and torturous—and the bosses aren't even fun.
Bloodborne x Pinocchio. A mashup I would have never expected to work, but it totally does. Feels incredibly similar to fromsoft games in the best of ways. Also Romeo & Laxasia are the hardest bosses I've ever fought. More difficult than Promised Consort. My lord.

Souls like 10/10
I'm a souls veteran that completed dark souls, elden ring, etc. The biggest difference between those games and lies of P is the story. In elden ring, I had to think hard and geek reading item description to understand whats going on, and even then these are just "theories". Meanwhile in Lies of PEAK its like playing a movie. I never had to read a single item description as the story just unfolds before you. This is the first game where I am very invested in the story, and it made beating the bosses that much more satisfying as I already hate them. The parallels between us and the DLC's final boss is just beautiful :) In elden ring I feel I have to compromise damage or aura. Here, the fable arts here are not only flashy, but actually deals damage. I was using the twin's dragon sword on my first playthrough, monad's on NG+, and falcon's sword on NG++. Yes, I completed this game 3 times because I want more time with these cool fable arts :) The bosses here were also top tier. Although the base game they might be slightly easier if you're used to soulseborne game, the DLC bosses were difficult. I love them :) Overall the story is 10/10, and would highly recommend this game
