Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Jogo extremamente fiel a saga/filme. Gráfico e jogabilidade perfeitos, excelente jogo!
Their taking the Hobbits to Isen-Oops wrong story.
I like it. The parkour-assist on the planks is better than Lego Lord of the Rings, however there were some problems with the camera.
ADOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEI!!!!!!
Lego de anão kkkkkk bão
I did originally write a mixed review for this game but after perfecting the entire game, I can't say I enjoyed the exprience much. Coming from someone who 100%ed every lego game for the 7th console generation, this was probably my least favourite to 100% behind Lego Marvel but that game is far better for a number of reasons. But to start, DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE FOR THIS GAME! This is not a full game, this is 2/3rds of a game in a trenchcoat pretending to be a full game. When the game was being developed, WB and Travellers tales took a different approach. Instead of making the full game (like EVERY other lego game to ever exist) they made most of a game and shipped it in April of 2014 with the plan being they would make a DLC to coincide with the release of the final film coming out in December of that year to maximise on that sweet sweet hype train money. Except thanks to lackluster sales and everyone prefering the old LoTR game from 2012, they decided this DLC wasn't worth the time and so now the game ends abruptly on the climactic ending in the desolation of smaug meant to set up Battle of the 5 armies and this lack of foresight and greed still shows. More or less everything is unlocked right at the end of the game instead of gradually throughout. So what about the game that *actually* exists? For me personally this game was a total slog to perfect. At every turn it felt as though the game was fighting against me, so opposed to the idea of being completed. It's clear this game wasn't play tested very well. Full crashes were rather common after playing for a prolonged period. The game also had issues with freezing characters in place during any sort of transition, requiring you to quit to the menu and reboot the save, as well as getting them totally stuck on geometry. There's even a glitch in laketown that can entirely softlock your save file if you simply quit the game at a bad time. I know because this happened to me. Quests tended to bug out very often with some integral part breaking and having to be fixed for 10 minutes each time. Also the detector items literally don't function half the time so you WILL need a guide to 100% this game And the actual gameplay itself? Don't think of this like a lego game but more like "Baby's first skyrim" It tries to do so much without actually comitting to any one thing. Not only do you have to collect studs but also resources which must be grinded for since there's barely any reliable ways to gather the massive amounts you need until you get red bricks, but you need massive amounts of resources to get them in the first place. This then ties in to the 'treasure trove' system, items that have different effects that are also completly useless since there's never any call to use them when you already have a character who possesses the ability you need anyway. These treasure trove items also tie partly into the 'quest system' which is the biggest slog/grind in the game. Characters will ask you for one of 5 things: An item, a buildable, A fight, A lost item or a puzzle. Items are by far the worst. You have to listen to a character yap for WAY too long, go play a level to get an item you wont use, go back, listen to them yap for even longer and boof, you've got your mithril brick, Buildables require too many of those oh so rare resources you don't have to build something silly, and the final 3 are self explanatory and equally boring. It wouldn't be so bad except there's 250 QUESTS! You literally have to grind NPC dialogue that many times to finish this damn game since the dialogue lasts for double the amount of time the quest gameplay does and that's like 75% bulk of the game, just unfunny dialogue. Both as an adult and a child this game is hugely under stimulating. The game also has this silly questline feature where you have to complete a bunch of quests before things like characters and red bricks show up and the game doesn't tell you this so with how disjointed it is by time you get certain characters and red bricks they're totally useless anyways. I ended up getting perfect forging by time I'd forged all the mithril items anyways. And you won't use 90% of the character roster since when most of them are available to you you've practically finished the game, unlike EVERY OTHER LEGO GAME EVER where they can be bought as they appear in the story so by the time you come around to do freeplay, you can try out different characters, but not in this one. Also the story isn't great. Unlike Lego Marvel where they created a unique story and voice acted it, the hobbit uses voice clips straight from the films to an even worse effect than LoTR. Not only do they not have any fun with it like in LoTR but they must have gave them about 10 different copies of the films with wildly varying levels of audio quality from 4K super ultra right down to a sound on disc phonograph system from the 1930s. It's so jarring how the quality jumps up and down constantly even in the same, unbroken cutscene And finally after nearly 2 days worth of playing I finally had the coveted 100%. However much to my dismay I wasn't fully done yet, oh no. I still had a few achievements that don't unlock naturally. And do pray tell how was I to get these achievements? More grinding, that's right. I firstly had to grind by performing over 200 Buddy up-dwarf attacks which I only found out AFTER looking it up online since the achievement doesn't explain itself properly and then I had to grind by running up and down Bree for 20 minutes between crashes in order to get 10 Billion studs since you'd never get that many during normal gameplay. This game literally makes you grind for hours just to finish up additional achievements. Honestly thinking about it now, the hobbit has to be the worst Lego game of all time. LoTR had a nice balance between items and quests but the hobbit makes it silly like even WoW has a more rewarding grind that this awful excuse for a Lego game. No wonder they abandoned basically all the gameplay systems and went back to their roots after this.
