About
Legionbound is a retro party-based RPG where fights play out in modern autobattler style, where the choices you make when selecting your heroes makes the difference between huge runs and getting wiped. Recruit a ridiculous number of heroes, stack synergies, and see if your legion holds together when the enemies pour in wave after wave.
Build up your party to up to 50 heroes at the same time. A far call from “perfecting my four-person party,“ more like "assembling a traveling fantasy pile of poor decisions.”

While your heroes are going to be fighting minions automatically, it doesn't mean you can't make a difference! Reposition heroes between rows, cast unlockable spells, and purchase passive items that align with the skills you've unlocked to maximize the benefits your heroes receive. Once your heroes have proven themselves, combine them into powerful Ascension classes to control the battlefield!
Battle Mode
An Endurance run on different maps where the goal is simple: last as long as you can. Keep recruiting heroes during the run, keep them alive through items and discovering Synergy subclasses, and see how far your build can go before it finally snaps. Unlock maps and heroes along the way!
Adventure Mode
A roguelite journey where you can construct buildings with special passive abilities and enhance your team over multiple battles. Venture forth into a variety of maps with various difficulties, modifiers, and rewards, but all the meanwhile the final foe gains power. When you are ready to face the final foe, will you confront the Endbringer or loop back to the beginning to gain more power?

Even when you wipe, you are still moving forward. Earn skill points, climb a detailed skill tree, and unlock roguelite bonuses that make future runs stronger, smoother, and more customizable.

I expected at least individual itemization of classes / individual hero skill sets. Class + level seems to be all what a hero is. Items apply to whole squad. I had hoped for more deapth, it doesn't feel engaging or interesting.
Love the game, regulation Pod put me on to it. the only thing I would ask for is an option to turn of screen shake/zooming in on people when they ult. it disrupts the game too much at higher speeds and messes up casting spells. would love to maybe see more ways to understand what is taking out your units, even on the slowest speed it can be hard to tell what is wiping them out making it hard to plan a counter. another tiny criticism is that some units colouring is the same shade as some of the environments (the assassins arms blend in to the road on the deeps woods, so maybe make either of them a different shade) other than that its a fantastic game 100% worth the money even despite these incredibly minor gripes i've loved every minute
自走棋,游戏玩法挺好的,就是特效和人物实在太花眼了,还有个冒险模式通关后,那两儿大字界面没法退出啊!!!!!
Recommended — 8/10 I’m really enjoying Legionbound so far. I’ve always loved good 2D graphics, and this game has a simple but charming style that works really well. At first it feels easy to pick up, almost like a mobile game, but there is actually a nice tactical layer behind it with unit positioning, synergies, Ascendants, and different ways to build your team. What I like the most is that it’s very intuitive and perfect for short sessions. If you only have 10 minutes, you can jump in, do a run, and still feel like you made some progress. The RPG elements, skill tree, farming, and progression system make every run feel useful, even when things don’t go perfectly. I also tried it on mobile, Steam Deck, and PC, and it works well across all platforms, which is a big plus for a casual roguelike/RPG experience. The only reason I’m giving it an 8 for now is that some gameplay elements could still be improved, especially how certain synergies work and some parts of the shop system. There is definitely room for balancing and quality-of-life improvements. Overall, Legionbound is a fun, casual, tactical RPG/roguelike that is easy to play but still rewarding. Recommended, and I can see my rating going even higher with future updates.
I enjoyed my first few runs, but every time I think about opening the game back up I don't, I have run out of things to do. I think the game should be less afraid to force you to restrict the kinds of heroes you can bring, I think there needs to be more mechanics that actually force you to make choices in the game. There really isn't.
Fun game with lots of options. It's good for 30 to 40 hours of play.
Very fun idle battle management game. Very interesting classes and character development system. You basically build an army that synergizes off eachother and classes can change and grow depending on your part composition. The one big downside is I cant imagine playing this game for more than 8 hours. I am 5 hours in and I have 95% of everything unlocked and it is becoming a bit stale. However if you can get the game cheap it will keep you entertained for a few afternoons and is fun. I would rate this a solid 7/10.
