About
Lootbane is a minimalistic ARPG set in a world where loot is power, and risk is everything. Every turn brings a new encounter: peaceful grasslands, harsh steppes, volcanic wastelands, and deeper dungeons hiding rare gear and darker choices.
Items are randomized, and their true power remains unknown until you extract them from a dungeon or win a fight. Every decision you make - whether to explore further, stand and fight, or retreat - turns into a high-stakes gamble where a single greedy move can cost you everything.
Strategic auto-battler - fights resolve automatically, but your build choices, equipment merges, and abilities create deep, game-breaking synergies.
60+ abilities - mix and match to discover explosive interactions and combos.
Randomized loot & crafting - every run feels new: merge items, craft upgrades, and adapt on the fly.
Multiple heroes - four distinct starters (Warrior, Vampire, Wizard, Ranger) with different stats/abilities.
Followers & choices - recruit companions with passive perks and active abilities, choose who comes along.
4 unique zones - each with its own monsters, encounters, and mini-bosses.
Custom difficulty - 1 life (hardcore), 3 lives (balanced), or unlimited lives (casual).
Meta-progression - unlock 30+ permanent starting bonuses to expand replayability.
Infinite replayability - procedural encounters, randomized items, and countless synergies mean no two runs feel the same.
