About
Rhythia on Steam, compared to other open source alternatives and implementations, is a completely new and refreshed client that aims to bring online and community features. The goal is to develop and improve on the familiar gameplay concept. More information and links are available on the Rhythia portal.

Rhythia is a game in which you aim and hit musical beats with precision. You will be targeting blocks, mastering timing, building combos, perfecting your accuracy and climbing leaderboards.
In the beginning you will find yourself learning the 3x3 grid layout, aiming at individual blocks and building basic combos by hand, but in short time you can become a rhythm master, with flawless accuracy, perfect timing and seamless aim transitions, all for those satisfying perfect scores. This intense focus on precision and timing rewards dedicated practice, so you will need to develop your aim and musical reflexes to achieve mastery.

Rhythia offers players unlimited customization of the game - to the smallest detail of gameplay, game interface and elements. It comes bundled with existing shapes, models and presets for you to choose from, and build your own experience.

stolen fork of a free open source from a disgruntled former dev, don't buy ts brotato chips 😭
Settings panel is a mess. Very hard to navigate. But the crucial issue is that there is no setup wizard or any option to migrate your settings from FOSS Rhythia version (like in osu!lazer) or convert sensitivity at least. Default settings are different from FOSS Rhythia version. Spent 70 minutes tweaking them, didn't get satisfying result. Review may be changed later.
I've heard that this game was stolen by a former developer, who then put a price tag on what was originally a free game. That's pretty disappointing, especially considering that a lot of rhythm games like this are free (e.g. osu!, Quaver, and literally the original version of this game). I've also heard that AI was used in some aspects, not too sure where and to what extent. Don't buy this game if you don't want to support this nature. Otherwise, if you don't care too much about the drama between this game and the original (like me), just buy it; who cares. Regardless, I do like this game, and I bought it on Steam because it was on sale and already pretty cheap (though, given the circumstances, I still think it should be free). Plus, having it as a native Steam game is just more convenient. The gameplay is super smooth, and I haven't had any issues in that regard. The absolute cursor setting is also really nice since I play with a tablet. The interface/skin customisation is also great; pretty much everything is customisable. Only complaints that I can think of are that there's no indicator of what ranking you've achieved on a map and that every map can only have one difficulty, which I find a little weird. The RP (what this game uses for rank placement) calculation seems horribly inconsistent from what I've seen so far with how kinds of patterns, map length, and specific more difficult sections of maps are rewarded. I'm not sure if it's intentional, but even a single miss feels like it removes around 40–50% of the RP, making it feel like you're only really rewarded for SS ranks. Keep in mind that I haven't played for very long yet, and I've only been playing around 3–4.5 star maps, so it could just be map choice. Overall really great rhythm game, compliments to the original devs.
vibecoded goyslop lol go play the real rhythia at https://github.com/Rhythia/Client
Rhythia Rating: 8.5/10 [Last Update: 18 July 2026] ============ Rhythia is an FPS style aim trainer combined with a rhythm game but w/o all the key mashing. It's a great game for people who play any FPS games and want to improve their mouse aim. You could think of it as Aim Lab & osu! combined into one game. The only downside is that the beatmap library is still pretty limited. I think that's because the community isn't very large yet so there aren't many people creating maps. If you're looking for your fav songs there's a good chance you won't find them or they'll only have unranked maps. But I'd still definitely recommend the game because it's fun and relaxing to play. I also really like the UI design. It's simple, clean and you can customize it to your liking.

good aim training game, alot more fun than aimlabs lol
very fun game doesnt make me want to punch my wife 10/10
amazing.
i am not a fan of how a free to play, open source game was essentially turned into something pay to play and closed source. However, this client of the game is actually not too bad. It definitely feels different than the other free clients, f.e notes appear slightly differently but it's not necessarily bad. It's very playable, and has some neat features. I also don't really like RP as it is- streams are giga overweight (you can miss a bajillion times and still get decent rp) and everything else is just underweight in comparison. So you are forced to basically onetrick streams if you wanna get to a high rank. I only really recommend this version of the game if you want leaderboards and other online features like multiplayer.
