About
Waves of enemies attack you and your opponents. Build defenses to survive. Send mercenaries to smash through your opponents' defenses. Scale your economy to become a late game beast. Like Chess, every match is familiar enough to reward game knowledge, but divergent enough to require adaptation.
Each match, you receive a random roll of 6 fighters, from 12 million possible combinations. Every fighter has strengths & weaknesses. Some secure strategic advantages early game, while others have powerful late-game synergies. Your skill lies in your ability to make the most of the hand you're dealt.

With 9+ years worth of data-driven, monthly balance patches, Legion TD 2 is perhaps the most balanced competitive game in the world. Rather than introduce disruptive changes every year to shake things up, Legion TD 2 has opted to chase perfecting a healthy meta. If you take a break for a couple years and come back, your same openings will probably still be viable.

Party as 1-8 players. Play 2v2 and 4v4 matchmade games.
Single-player/co-op campaign.* ~8-12 hours, plus 10 levels of AI's.
Active playerbase. Fast, fair matches since 2017. Still going strong in 2026.
One of a kind gameplay. The only standalone team vs. team competitive tower defense.
Fun to learn. Dynamic in-game tips and special new-player matchmaking ease you in.
Packed with stats. Winrates, pickrates, match histories, leaderboards, top games, and more.
Global servers. All multiplayer is cross-region, hosted on our servers.
No pay to win. In-game purchases are 100% cosmetic.
Behavior system. AFKers, griefers, and toxic players are dealt with quickly.
Monthly tournament. $1,000 in prizes every month, hosted on Twitch.
Weekly challenges. A puzzle-like competition to find the best build with a set lineup.
*Note: single-player features require an online connection due to technical limitations of the game engine.
Legion TD 2 is the sequel to the 2nd most popular Warcraft 3 mod of all time, Legion TD. Also known as Squadron TD in Starcraft 2. The top 5 most played Warcraft 3 mods are DotA, Legion TD, Wintermaul, Footmen Frenzy, and Life of a Peasant. Legion TD is proud to hold the silver medal.

Legion TD 2 launched in early access in 2017, and has received major updates, quality of life, and balance changes every single month since then. After fully launching in October 2021, we believe it has grown to become the most replayable, balanced, competitive strategy experience out there. Unlike other indie multiplayer games, Legion TD 2's playerbase has stood the test of time, having been active & steady for nearly 10 years and counting.

Legion TD 2 is one of those games that quietly steals hundreds of hours from your life while pretending to be a relaxing tower defence game. Spoiler alert: it isn't. You'll start by placing a few units and thinking, "Yeah, this seems straightforward." Five matches later you're discussing income efficiency, leak percentages and wave timings like you're presenting quarterly financial reports. The gameplay loop is disgustingly addictive. Build fighters, defend waves, send mercenaries and ruin somebody else's economy while praying they don't return the favour. Every match feels different, every strategy has counterplay and every mistake is punished immediately by a giant notification informing you that you've leaked half the wave and embarrassed yourself in front of the team. Legion TD 2 is proof that Warcraft III custom maps were often more creative than entire AAA studios. Fair warning though: "one more game" is a lie. Simply a must have for all tower defense genre gamers.

singleplayer can be fun to grind but the multiplayer (the real experience) is terrible, your teammates will identify that you are a new player based on you not pressing the buttons the same way they do (even if it makes no difference) & scream at you and have a meltdown about it. do not recommend, try a different autobattler with a better community
It's not a replica of the Warcraft/Starcraft mods. It's a shell of it's former creations. Every single round is exactly the same. RNG to get decent units, send units, save at 18, send 20 or 21. THE SAME EVERY SINGLE GAME Starcraft 2 mod had way more ambition than this, and that's free...
I've spend TONS of hours in this game, and it has never been in a worse state than it is atm. If you're just looking to kill a few hours on a TD game, it's perfect for that. But most players dont understand this game at all, It's been so bad that i honestly think it's just bots building random stuff and not communicating. The report system doesn't work and the Devs dont reply. Updates are making no sense and they keep pushing stuff that makes them more money.
Çok chill kafa dağıtmalık bir oyun herkese tavsiye ederim.

I've made only a handful of review for games despite playing 100s. Legion TD 2 is an incredible game. The devs actually care about the community, and the playerbase is huge. I never have trouble queuing for games, a must try for any TD fan.
Well Well... It makes me curious that i find some very one-sided reviews here. Seeing people talk about a toxic community and racism as well as poor ingame mechanics. With my 5.5k hours into it, i disagree with those opinions in different ways. ++++ If you want to skip that part, just Head down below marked with: ++++ 1. Toxic Community: There are toxic players (as in every multiplayer Team-Game nowadays). There are always people thinking the Game needs to be played their way or that are mad at a losing streak. This doesn't make the game Bad. 2. Racism: I do not recall here, that racism does not exist. But i never got in Contact with it in 5.5k Hours nor do i know someone that faced those issues. Sometimes if you Rage, there are some weird comments in the Chat or ppl praising the German Dude, but like the Toxic community, this happens in almost every Multiplayer Game from time to time and does not make the Game bad. So its an Opinion that should not be dislayed rating a Game (if it's not a Daily basis). 3. Poor Reporting Mechanics: On this Point i do have to admit that there are only poor reporting Mechanics. But for a Game with a "not that High"-Player Count (especially on Higher Elo) i can understand that there are no "Hard Bans" for harassing people whatsoever. Otherwise the Game might Die due to strict regulations. There should be better Punishments like Hourly Bans for example. On the other Hand i am Fine that you can't report on every Game. Otherwise people just use it to "♥♥♥♥ you up". Take League of Legends for example. They try to pressure you by saying "I Report you...blah...blah...blah!" ++++ Now that we've gone through that lets head to the Game itself ++++ The Game itself is well developed and the Devs keep a close distance to the Community. If there is any Major flaw inside the Balancing they pump out a Hotfix to get that fixed ASAP. They even give you free premium Currency every Month to just support you playing. The Graphics are not that Unique but for a Tower Defense Game it is totally fine, at least for me. I would recommend the Game for Players that just want to find a Game chillin on evenings grinding for better Elo, nevertheless you need to learn some basics like Unit placement to get into higher Tiers. +Pro's + The Game gets constantly updatet and fixed in any Way + Reading the Opponent and hold Critical Waves is rewarding. + in most Games, the Matchmaking is totally on Point + Regularly small Tournaments for everyone + Rewarding Moments if your strategy totally works out - Con's - Long Saves and Wave Skips are almost unable to Counter (Overwhelming Sends) - One Player is almost unable to compensate a Bad Teammate (Happens Sometimes) - Classic 4v4 is almost unplayable (They should stop granting Players extra Income) - Never Play on Patch Day!! xD Long Words Short. I am totally addicted, i grind like there is no tomorrow. Sometimes it's rewarding, sometimes it sucks and i get mad. Then i shut down the Game and try again later. I would recommend the Game at any given time for Sale or full pricing. If you love Competative Tower Defense, this is the ♥♥♥♥ to go with. at least for me. Disclaimer: I do not Play 4v4, 2v2 or Events that often so my Review is almost only for Ranked Games.
I want to like it but it won't let me finish a game so I don't. campaine VS AI every game disconects. sooo mind the refund window for those who do get it. thank the gods I got this for free
