The physics in Legendary Tales was built to mimic the way real weapons feel and act as close as possible while still being fun to play. Weapons have their own weight so that larger swings will do more damage. Not only that but enemies and destructible items also react to how hard you hit them for a truly engaging experience.

Want to try sneaky kills with a dagger? Hit your enemies from afar with a bow? Or just mash some faces with a morning star? There are a host of different weapon types to suit your play style so find what works for you! And for every weapon type you will find so many variations on their stats thanks to random number generated items. The items are classed into five categories ranging from normal to Legendary. which not only look awesome but have special abilities. What abilities? You’ll have to get one for yourself to find out.

As you fight your way through the world, your character will grow based on how you play. But there’s more to growth than just how you fight, work your way through the magic and skills available to truly bring your character to the next level.

Weapons are fun and all but through the skill tree you can improve your abilities with combat skills or find yourself a Legendary item with their own special abilities and even more, you can upgrade their skills!
If hunting for weapons in the dungeons isn’t for you then we have good news! You can create your own weapons with ingredients found on your adventures, or by honing the weapons you’ve collected. You can also make potions to prepare deep dungeon crawling and disassemble items you found during your adventures to get ingredients and enhance your crafted weapons or potions with them.
Get ready for an epic adventure in VR! Put on your headset, find some friends and head into the dungeon to start creating your own Legendary Tales.

cool game but get it when its on sale the price point is stupid.
I hate that I feel like I have to write a negative review for this game. As the original price point of ~$20, I worked out just fine. I've played when it was in beta up until they did a whole rework of the game. The whole "This was a big move and big step" is a "Big mistake and stupid decision". It's fun at first then it just becomes a walking simulator with sponge bosses that can kill you in one or two shots. It's a cash grab. For 20$ you can play Blade and Sorcery and that runs way better and has mods like multiplayer.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Worth $10 but that is about it. Just buy Dungeons of Eternity instead.
this game was fun and is easy get into, but even before 1.0 it wasn't an easy sell to friends, now at 1.0 with such a price increase i cant recommend it, buy on a sale if you're curious
I got this game early on WAY before the price jumps. Do NOT buy this game for the current full price ($55 USD.) It's laughable, this game is worth $20 at most. Catch it on sale or skip entirely. I enjoy it for what it is, but the price is outrageous.
Is this game worth 60$? No. Never in a million years. The game feels incredibly slow, janky, and just empty. The AI design is absolutely terrible and the game is so unimmersive. At that point I should have just bought Skyrim VR with these 60 dollars and modded it. The empty landscape is also very apparent. It gives high performance, but the game just looks awful. It solely relies on parallax textures to look good, but it just doesn't do great. The side quests and story feel very useless and give no clear indication on where to go, so it always feels like there is no story, instead you are just wandering and finding things. And my god, the NPCs are downright terrible. No voice acting, no immersive aspects, nothing. They're just a blank model that has a text box, that's it. How does Little Big Planet do NPCs better? That's just insulting. The only good thing about this game is the weapon crafting system. It's new, interactive, and, surprisingly, immiersive. Overall a low-effort game and a waste of money. It's worth the original 20 dollar pricepoint, but 60 dollars? Hell. No.
A fun almost diablo-like VR dungeon crawler, but grossly overpriced to an extreme degree. This is a $30 CDN game, not a $72 CDN game. Go look at some gameplay of it. Look at how basic so many of the models are, how simple enemies and general gameplay are, how unrefined many menus are and how there's no VA work or any extensive set of accessibility options. You wouldn't care about all of that if it was priced what it was worth; at a normal price point for this kind of developer, all these traits aren't faults, but part of the package. At this exorbitant price, you should expect AAA fidelity, and that's absolutely not what you're getting. Not even close. And that's the thing, isn't it? I wouldn't care, personally, if the game had the quality its price point says it should. Or, if at least the cost of it was visibly going towards improving the game's overall quality to match what it costs. Yet, recent dev posts have literally said it's not making much money, and they have to look elsewhere: to DLCs, or to other games. I wonder why it's not making much money?
This game is so close to being great, but the dev doesn't seem to care about his short comings on this $55 game. combat against normal size mobs is great and fluid but the goblins you have to fight do nothing but hurt your back/knees for hours before they take a back seat. all of the mini bosses are damage sponges that can 1-3 shot you depending on build and the full bosses are just the same thing but bigger and worse. build balance is a inconsistent mess, why the hell do strength weapons just do less base damage than dex and never even catch up with skills? multiplayer makes everything tanky and makes the bosses summon mini bosses that immediately respawn when your team kills them leading to you just ignoring them the best you can. In this current state i just can't recommend anyone buy this game for full price unless they really like restarting the beginning 3 hours of the game till they find a build to cheese the game with and stay far away from multiplayer.
Price change made the game worth to not worth. Game is okay but price is too high
Got it... Loved the game... But the price is hilariously high lol... This is AT MOST a $15 game... The slow pace of the devs shows this will NEVER be a success... I highly do not recommend getting this even though it has massive potential...
