The physics in Legendary Tales was built to mimic the way real weapons feel and act as close as possible while still being fun to play. Weapons have their own weight so that larger swings will do more damage. Not only that but enemies and destructible items also react to how hard you hit them for a truly engaging experience.

There are a host of different weapon types to suit your play style so find what works for you! And for every weapon type you will find so many variations on their stats thanks to random number generated items. The items are classed into five categories ranging from normal to Legendary. which not only look awesome but have special abilities. What abilities? You’ll have to get one for yourself to find out.

As you fight your way through the world, your character will grow based on how you play. But there’s more to growth than just how you fight, work your way through the magic and skills available to truly bring your character to the next level.

Weapons are fun and all but through the skill tree you can improve your abilities with combat skills or find yourself a Legendary item with their own special abilities and even more, you can upgrade their skills!
If hunting for weapons in the dungeons isn’t for you then we have good news! You can create your own weapons with ingredients found on your adventures, or by honing the weapons you’ve collected. You can also make potions to prepare deep dungeon crawling and disassemble items you found during your adventures to get ingredients and enhance your crafted weapons or potions with them.
Get ready for an epic adventure in VR! Put on your headset, find some friends and head into the dungeon to start creating your own Legendary Tales.

Reduce the price and its great
This game is an absolutely underrated masterpiece. It was hard to find due to its almost non-existent marketing, but I stumbled upon it by chance. I can confidently say that the game is worth every penny. The first chord of the main theme gave me chills, and the variety of game mechanics and future adventures kept me engaged. I highly recommend this game without a doubt

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Zero cloud save lossing all my data and the game didn't tell me we only support local save back ups 18h gone and 20+ levels.
Fun with friends, could not imagine playing this solo, normal enemies and bosses just become sponges and your weapons don't ever really feel "stronger" because the new areas take just as many hits to kill as the last one. removed the dungeon crawling from the beta which was 1000x more fun to me than the lackluster gameplay loop provided. Again, I do NOT recommend solo play as bosses will get just straight up unfair to the player, but it's definitely not impossible if you feel like going for it. Overpriced for what it is. 5/10.
not worth the money, abandoned and downgraded. Edit: just saw their latest notes from the 24th of April 2026. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are you guys just attracted to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?? you first made a game alot of people liked because of the gameplay, then said "nah screw that lets completley change how the game is played" and then announce you are bringing back the initial gameplay and are going to ask us to pay for it again?! this is some scammer level ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, congrats on killing your game beyond repair
Played it with a friend and we gave it a generous shot. Played it for almost seven hours. But we decided to stop after that since it was... kinda boring. The game has generally decent basics and solid MP. But the Gameplay is just very tedious. Just the same cave systems over and over. New enemy type? Look forward to seeing that for the the next couple hours in the same tunnels. Also what's with those physics defying goblins. The hitreg, physics, etc. is decent but nothing as sophisticated as B&S or Battletalent. No matter how you hit an enemy you do the same damage, only the interval matters which feels silly. The Gameplay is not fun and satisfying enough to justify this amount of bloated repetitive content. Not for this price anyway. Would refund if i still could.
The weapon inventory implementation is clunky, convoluted, and unintuitive. Having to drop a newly picked up item just to get it back into your backpack is ridiculous. There’s no audio dialog. Zero. You’re expected to read lots of text and the pacing for the text changes is off. Audio effects are poor. To mask this shortcoming you’ll get lots of music that is not inspiring. There appears to be a mismatch between destruction of items and when you actually struck the item. Hitting and breaking items is not satisfying at all the way it should be. When items are destroyed it looks awful and distracting, like the bare minimum effort was put into it. It doesn’t look right. Downed enemies that you’d expect to have physics have none; your weapon will just clip right through them. There is apparently a very complex upgrade/skill tree management system which is never introduced in the 2 hours spent in the tutorial. It looks like something better suited to a flat screen game rather than a smart, engaging implementation for VR. Who wants to spend a lot of time staring at a flat skill tree system trying to figure out where and what to upgrade versus actually having fun gameplay? The fact that it’s not properly introduced within the first 2 hours makes assessing a keep vs refund decision difficult. The art assets and environments don’t look great, they feel samey, and uninspiring. The community photo pics don’t seem to show a lot of variety in art assets. Was hoping the game would grab a hold of me and pull me in, but it feels soulless. Not getting good vibes as a single-player experience. Perhaps it’s more fun co-op, but with that complex upgrade/skill tree system I don’t know. Skyrim VR looks and feels infinitely more fun and engaging than this. The asking price is ridiculous when you consider these factors. It would be easier to rally around this game if it was actually priced appropriately.
Not worth $60, especially in a world where Blade and Sorcery exists for half the price
Ive been playing this since early access, and at this point, i just cant recommend. First off, they decided this game is worth 55 bucks. For a VR game. Seriously. Secondly, the fight mechanics and dungeon crawling is fun with friends, and the shenanigans you can get up to is downright hilarious. But then you get to the boss fights, and realize its impossible. The bosses typically have upwards of 1000 health in solo, but scale drastically higher the more people you have in your group. Oh and adds. Did i mention the adds? no? Well then, step right up to that boss who has 1400 hp and summons adds with *Half its health*. Oh, and the more people in your group? The more adds it spawns. So not only do you have to contend with the chaos of the boss flinging unblockable random attacks at you, but it summons mini mes of itself that pretty much make you just run away the whole fight. Oh but it gets better. Remember how he has 1400 hp? You do about ten damage per hit. Oh, and your progress is impeded behind defeating this boss. Yeah, we're done.
Was much better in early access, only went downhill from there.
