Forgotten lands and ancient magic give rise to a dangerous journey against the oppressive rule of witches.
“Legendary Tales V. Price of Power” is an adventure game in the Hidden Objects genre, with plenty of mini-games and puzzles, unforgettable characters, and complicated quests.
In a world ruled by witches, survival is hard and hope is rare. Whispers of forgotten myths and powers suggest that change may still be possible. From hidden catacombs to long-abandoned cities, this journey unfolds across ruins of lost civilizations and through encounters with dangerous foes. Along the way, unlikely allies appear, old secrets resurface, and the fragile dream of freedom grows stronger. The journey is filled with uncertainty, but each discovery hints that the world’s fate may yet be rewritten. I've enjoyed all of FIVE-BN GAMES before, but I had to get a refund on this one. If you can handle with trying to click 3-4 times on everything, including getting to your main menu, then this is a fun game. Personally, I want this bug to be fixed, especially for people who want to get all the achievements.
nice game but you have to click everywhere 3-4 times... maybe bug...
I love the series ... enjoyed basically all the Five-BN-HO games - they're my favourites besides the Artifex Mundi games. Price of Power has, as all predecessors of the Legendary Tales series, a really catching story and we'll see a lot of the characters from the previous installments. The riddles are ok - if you played one game, you'll know what to expect. From a puzzle lover's point of view, you get more from the same. The adventure parts are fun and are usually what keep me going. However, this particular game has a serious technical glitch.. if doesn't react to mouse clicks. Seems to be some kind of bug... tried it on two different computers... it's the same thing. Never happend with one of the previous games, so maybe it's just a minor bugfix that's missing. However, of you're not a patient player, this is annoying as hell. I just kept going because I wanted to know how the story ended. There are actually also some time critical parts (finding HO's in a given period of time, passing the fire trial,...) - I needed to skip due to the technical issues. Five-BN-Games... please fix this... otherwise I can't recommend it to others than the most frust-resistant fans...
Good game for type. good graphics. No issues. Morphing objects are dequised really good. The puzzles however are pretty hard. I have had to skip 90 percent of them, Im ashamed to admit, lol, and I good at solving. Hidden objects are nicely balanced between easy and hard. The only negative thing I found to be quite annoying is the fact in the 2 and 3rd episodes the android and the girl interupt the game by ther talking back and forth at the top of the screen. You can close them though. I think its still pretty well balanced but I think the story line could be better, its just not a good fit in this particular story. 4 stars. Price not bad either.
Legendary Tales are back with the fifth installment and once again the movie scenes are done using AI as they were in the previous game, although once again, in my view, it has enhanced the story telling without being over-the-top. As with other games by Five-BN the puzzles are good and well thought out, although some will take real thought to finish. My criticism of the game is such that although there is a journal of sorts, it doesn't record, what I would consider vital information such as hints that may be required later in the game. This means that there is a lot of backtracking to locate said hints and find the solution for the particular puzzle you are attempting at the time. And at my age and my memory not being what it once was, this can be quite frustrating and referring to the strategy is necessary or using repeated hints. Also the strategy guide has become very sparse in it's use of language and means that it relies on using the images in the guide a lot. Such as for a given puzzle it may say "Walkthrough A" referring to that solution in an image with a large "A" located on it. In and of itself this isn't too much of a problem but I did find myself going back and forth trying to relate what was in the guide to what I was trying to do on the screen. Another thing I found really frustrating was the mouse sensitivity has been really dialled down to the point that I was having to repeatedly click on a single item in the inventory or on the screen to get it to work. I know that it's not my system as my mouse works in everything else I do and in other Five-BN games, so this needs addressing. Maybe it's a bug as other reviewers have mentioned this too. Overall I enjoyed the game but it does have some issues. I do recommend the game but if I were to give a star rating then it would be a solid 3/5.
Почините игру!!!! Вечный клик на предметах и на возврате с карты на карту и вообще на любое действие! Из-за этого играть становится неинтересно и появляется раздражительность, а данная игра должна приносить положительные эмоции, а не отрицательные.
Beautifully made, gorgeous videos, wonderful and intriguing puzzles. And I love the characters! So creative, so magical!
belle aventure,petits jeux sympas
This is as good as all the other Legendary Tales. A long and satisfying adventure. Highly recommend
Долгожданное продолжение серии Legendary Tales. Игра понравилась. Как обычно, квесты интересные, красивое запоминающееся оформление. Уже второй раз её перепрохожу.
