Legacy's Allure

Haven't played much of the digital client but I played a lot of the physical game and so far the digital client is a faithful recreation that makes an extremely fun and deep game more accessible. If you're a fan of 0 rng games with lots of juicy tactical depth and the ability to customize your play style to your hearts content then this is the game for you.

I play wargames fairly religiously (check my tabletop simulator hours for how much I love 40k), and Legacy's Allure is the best one for new players. That being said, I think you absolutely miss a lot of the best parts of the experience without participating in the discord. This client is primarily for PvP and this game is small and growing, so to find players to teach or fight, you often have to post in the discord. I would recommend installing, joining the discord, and playing in that order. If you can do that, this might be the single best wargame currently in existence.

Absolutely phenomenal game. Low eyecandy factor, but to me that's a feature not a bug. Too many games have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay and some eyecandy that's nice for two seconds. This game is actually good! Kudos to keith the creator. long may the game keep creating new content. One con: the player base and dev are active on discord, but finding a game is tough af atm. but keith is working on expanding player base and further dev. this game is just getting started and its going to be glorious
