Legacy of Kain™ Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered

siempre me va a encantar este juego 10/10 (en mi opinion) :v

its a working port of the original and a toggle to change the graphics from ps1-2 to ps3... i love it! also the added achievements to this was actually fun to do. for some models i prefer the originals, for some i love the new changes, but i love the ability to switch between them with a button (like halo). all remasters need to have this option!

Simple two reasons why I do not recommend this game (at least the first one): [b]1. Unpredictable jumpy camera.[/b] There was pretty much no work done to improve it since OG release. It's simply still in a raw state, like in some indie game which is in a beta state... The zoom level depends on an angle we look from + environment itself, such as walls ([i]if we stand close to them, which WILL happen often due to narrow spaces[/i]), uneven ground etc. If you have at least a partial [b]Motion Sickness[/b] like me - you will most likely hate this game. Either play it in a short bursts, or skip entirely. [b]2. One-Dimensional Environmental[/b] (Puzzle) [b]Solutions.[/b] Many of fights & puzzles are not designed to be logical. Instead: you have to [b]Guess Solution[/b] (the ONLY one) which [b]Developer had in mind[/b]. Example without spoilers: Instead of blocking the doors to stay open, you have to... do what developer preplanned. It's a shame Remaster didn't address crucial issues of OG release like ([i]already mentioned[/i]) camera, character movement, or adding simple QoL such as FOV slider (which YES - [b]it is possible[/b], as there is already at least one mod addressing it). Fundamentally the game itself isn't bad. For its time, it is actually quite impressive piece. But it will take me a lot of time before I beat it, given the annoyances it has.

A very good game. Oldie but I still recommend it. Very good writing. If you like Legacy of Kain you should start with Blood Omen 1 or this one, Soul Reaver 1 and 2. Peak.

10/10 Masterpiece, the Legacy of Kain series is some of the best writing in video game history, after making a handful of titles there are no plot holes, some of the games are hundreds or over a thousand years apart. The only complaint I have about these games are it is difficult finding out where to go your first playthrough. Got this on Green Man Gaming for $12.49 Make sure you play Blood Omen Legacy of Kain along side this. Its Kain's origin story before Soul Reaver going from human to Vampire.

Jogo clássico do play 1, totalmente imersivo. O jogo é cheio de quebra cabeças e raciocínio lógico. Nostalgia pura para quem jogou na época!
