Tive uma pessíma experiência jogando Soul Reaver 2, anos atrás, mais precisamente por não corresponder a mesma dinâmica do primeiro que é meu preferido. Entretanto, agora que compreendo melhor a lore da franquia, e o inglês, constatei que a narrativa deste jogo é uma obra prima, a forma como tudo se desenrola é primordial, pelo menos ao que o jogo se propõe a fazer, que é a jogabilidade em torno da história, neste quesito o game consegue fazer muito bem. Por fim, preciso elogiar o porte para PC, diferente do primeiro que precisei modificar a compatibilidade do Sistema operacional, este, não precisei de nada, rodou super bem, parabéns à Nixxes que desde o ano 2000 vem fazendo um excelente trabalho, não é atoa que até hoje vem fazendo excelentes portes de console para PC. A história abomina paradoxos!

The writing and voice acting in this game do all of the heavy lifting here. As a game, it is worse than Soul Reaver 1 in every way. Although the combat is technically more varied than in SR1, it is less interesting and you are forced to fight enemies far more often, and it feels tedious and repetitive way before the halfway mark. All of the exploration and rewards for doing so that made SR1 so engaging and replayable are completely absent in the sequel. As are the diverse and interesting environments, landmarks, and locations that have been mostly replaced with some vey samey ancient temples. So, why do I recommend it? The writing and voice acting, really is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

You can patch this version and it works perfect. Remaster of sr2 is horrible even in the old visuals mode.
