About
Play as the noblest of fantasy heroes: an insurance adjuster. But when an ancient enemy threatens life as you know it, you must leave your cushy desk behind and step onto the battlefield. Deny a claim. Save the world.
Ledgerbound is a hilarious, narrative-driven tactical RPG/dating sim filled with all your favorite epic fantasy activities: battling evil enemies, filling out paperwork, rescuing your company from financial ruin, pursuing HR-approved relationships, and more!
When the world’s greatest heroes are cut down by an ancient enemy, your company is on the hook for paying out their life insurance claims. That is, unless you can defeat the enemy yourself, proving that those other heroes were simply underprepared—claim denied, baby!
Enjoy punchy dialogue, character-based comedy, and grounded, meaningful conversations that’ll make you fall in love. Or lust. Ideally both.
Engage in strategically dense, grid-based combat to overcome a variety of foes. Customize your team with hundreds of unique abilities, equip corporate swag that boosts your stats, and choose your characters’ promotion paths to unlock powerful new skills.
Just like in real life, time is limited and your choices matter—will you spend your evenings nurturing your blossoming relationships, or will you burn the midnight oil to improve your skills as a tactician? Remember, whatever decisions you make, you’re stuck with forever. FOREVER.
Recruit a ragtag group of weird yet lovable characters, fully voiced by a talented cast of actors who kept saying “wow, this is the horniest thing I’ve ever done.” Then fill out the appropriate HR paperwork so you can get up on them.

Such a great and simple game. Good story, interesting mechanics. There's definitely some bugs here and there, but the game is solid. The team has clearly put a solid effort into this title and cares about the world and story they are creating. If you're looking for either a dating sim or a turn-based strategy game, this is a solid pick up
Absolutely amazing. It is VERY VERY hard to like the game if you're a perfectionist or if you're someone who likes discovering everything on your first playthrough. No, the game is only fun when you start giving up on these gamer instincts, the game becomes amazing. When you stop trying so so hard to get your 3 stars on every chapter, you start getting carried by the story, the characters, the voice acting. The game isn't a deep tactical RPG, but it's honestly hilarious and the gameplay is servicing that aspect, not the opposite. Do not play this game like a hardcore tactical but like a visual novel with tactial RPG gameplay and you'll love it. Like BG3, I began to truly enjoy the game when I stopped thinking like a strategist and began to think like a character in a story. This is where the game becomes powerful. To me, clearly the best game of the year so far. It's also the first time I might play a second playthrough in a lower difficulty in any game just to enjoy the experience in a more relaxed way. BIG YES

This is one of those games that start out so hard - It has such an absolutely unique concept and story. The trailers etc really sold the game. The game literally start out at a solid 9/10 The combat was promising. Absolutely unique charecters. Unique world building - just the concept of the Shareholders is and Rayna working as an ensurance-agent for magical heroes? Its simply just *chefs kiss* But this is also where the chef starts putting to much salt into the dish. The interactions are way way way to sexualised, far more then even the trailers hinted at. The overall story keeps gets diracted from it - Sexual ennuendos, direct sex acts etc keeps popping up constantly. This is despite even saying ingame and clicking boxes you dont wanna see or engage in said activities. We are now down to a 7/10 The humor in this game is unique and its SO great the first 5 hours of the game - i was belly laughing so often. Then... said humor keeps going another 5 hours and then another 5 hours and it seeps into everything and its there constantly... to such a degree that its almost every single sentence thats supposed to be funny, or it switches over to sexualised 'humor'. We are now down to a 5/10. Then comes it to the whole HR-Party-Management system. It starts out solid and very unique and it just gets... annoying. The choices for gear/swag/liabilities just bogs down and prevents you from enjoying the story with your team (The devs did 'fix' this ,with overcorrecting with a new setting, that almost completely removes agency.) The gear/swag/liabilities are just... odd... and so often the text makes no sense like "Do more damage to people that havent eaten breakfast" The system of getting tickets to increase the quality of the SWAG you can get was fascinating, but quite often the "secret" tasks inside the missions are only revealed late, so you can end up missing/failing the instant they are revealed, so you are forced to replay the mission. We are now down to a 4/10. I had enjoyed the first 10-15 hours of this game SO much and I legit thought it could become the top 5 of my ALL TIME PLAYED GAMES and then it just tanks so hard that... well. I bothered writing a review. So if you can look past what I wrote, then there is potential for an amazing game...
10/10
"Oooh turn based strategy and dating in one go? This sounds up my alley" was my first thought when I found this game. I was trying to tank it to the end, as I find this game unenjoyable. Hours in, my save crashes on boot. Yey. The volume when people speak are uneven. Hobknob yelling is lower than someone speaking at a normal volume? Rayna being half the volume as Avarice and the Narrator? These are 2 examples I can remember. The burnout management early game is cancer. Then you get ways in and suddenly it's a non issue??? I know it's a dating game, but with the option to make platonic friendships, I can't say I appreciate the weird undertones in every interaction prior to getting rank 5 (where you pick platonic or romantic). Not to mention being forced to kiss a character I did not have rank 5 with yet.
sorry guys unpopular opinion but i love the humor
I am not one usually for games like this but I followed the development of the game on Tiktok and felt it only right I try it out. After just finishing this game I am proud to say my opinions have changed for games like it and wanting to start another playthrough just to keep playing. Thank you for the amazing project Dev's and VA's
Gioco molto bello, ho amato quasi tutti i protagonisti tranne Pallas che onestamente l'ho trovato abbastanza insopportabile, mi sono innamorato perdutamente di Avarice invece, ormai mio grande amore.

Great game with really good story, voice acting and combat mechanics which can be turned way down for those who only want the story or way up for those who want a good challenge. Not being able to do manual saves was a big stress factor for me when playing this and not in a good way, I didn't get the exact ending I wanted and with no way to go back and do things a bit differently without having to replay the whole game is a bit of a downer. Nevertheless this game is solid and worth buying, even if you struggle like me with having no save slots (which I hope they add later down the line) its worth going through this game.
