I received the game for free to review and in my first hour of playing I do enjoy it a lot! You're moving back to your late grandfather's home to take over his business and house, giving you the opportunity for upgrades on two different properties while also bringing more life to this small town. The plot premise is there but I'm hoping to see more of Mia and Maya's dynamic as the game gets further developed. + The game utilizes different ingredients that become unlocked as you progress to craft that perfect cup. + The weather mechanics add an interesting mix to your gameplay. + The music is nice! Chill vibes here and engaging tunes there. - I have a bit of difficulty reading the font-style, but I know it is a part of the game's retro aesthetic so that's not too much of an issue! The game isn't meant to be challenging and is welcoming to all players, so give it a go if you like management-style games with a chill aesthetic.
Lots of repetition. New ingredients does not really mean anything, except more complicated math for loss of profit. For a game that says it's about math, everything seems really dumb to me. There's not too much in this game really. Just keep playing and you'll eventually unlock everything. No suspense, no excitement.
I bought this game on sale for just under $2 and I would say its worth it for that price. But the game gets boring and really monotonous after a while. You unlock more expensive and "better" ingredients but it barely increases the profit and I found I was spending more and more money on ingredients and wasn't able to afford any of the upgrades. I ended up sticking to using the basic starter ingredients and gained money quicker. The biggest downfall was there was not really any direction or tutorial when you start. You just get plopped down and are expected to figure things out. I accidentally wasted the first day because I immediately went back to bed lol. Even with these complaints it is a chill game to play while watching something on youtube. Art is very pretty as well. Just wish the colours/lighting didnt make it always look so gloomy
really wanted to like it but it's quality is too much for what i paid in Brazilian Real. 5 BRL would be fine. Nothing new to the table and despite it's beautiful environment, it falls short to be a mobile game.
Oh boy. I really wanted to like this one, but - it explains little. You don't know what the difference is between serving good coffee or just medium coffee, so you can make the same cheap coffee again and again and earn the most profit with the little time spent without any distinctive difference. - first, it is cozy, then it is just time management - customers can get stuck in the tent so you have to close the shop and open it again to start working again - there is not much to do just make the same coffee, buy ingredients, and upgrades. It gets boring really fast.
Its a decent game with nice pixel art and a chill music.
I have been on an incremental and simulation game craze lately. I have been thoroughly enjoying the chill genre with these '2nd monitor' type games. LST+ though, has been a dreadful pickup. There is no 'scaling' in the game. Essentially, the base kit you start with is the most effective way to make money throughout the first 2 hours of the game (this is where I deleted). The upgrades scale in cost, but the sell price never increases. You have no control over the economy. Using higher priced ingredients actually nets you lower profits per sale. So the game becomes this slow, terrible grind of base equipment until presumably you unlock everything. 0/10. Avoid this one.

I really wanted to like it, but it's way too shallow for a management game. I wasn't expecting much, but even with low expectations, it disappointed. The art is kinda cute, but the game has TOO MANY flaws. Its premise is interesting: use different ingredients to fulfill the client's coffee requests. For example, a client might request a coffee with 3 caffeine, 2 sweetness, and 4 bitterness. You can mix and match different types of coffee, milk, and spice, all of which have different stats. This is really cool and has potential, but other games have already done it better, like Coffee Talk. - The UI is awful and obtuse, with no regard for UX. I could figure most things by playing and inferring - like the weather and the calendar/schedule -, but there were still some things I couldn't understand. Some things don't make sense, like how the "sweetness" stat is called "cream" in the shop, but nowhere else. There was no way to open the status window while the shop was open, which felt so awkward. - Mechanics are poorly implemented or explained. There are too many mechanics that have no real impact on gameplay. Why should I try to make a client happy when I get the same benefit by giving the bare minimum? What does the star rating on the menu mean? Why do I get nothing by leveling up? Does weather affect anything? I experimented quite a bit, but couldn't figure out the answer to any of these questions. - Progression is extremely slow. There's no inherent advantage to using more expensive ingredients, because they net you the same amount of gold as standard ingredients. The only way to really increase revenue is to gain popularity, but the upgrades are very expensive and only increase customer flow, not the prices. There is no way to get a higher income other than receiving more clients. Having different ingredients felt pointless. - The game itself is too slow. I get that being slow might be part of progression - because increasing popularity is the game's main economic boost -, but it was annoying to have to wait about 10 seconds for new clients to arrive, even when using the fast forward button. Score: 3.5/10 - Mediocre
I gave this game a shot and decided to download it, why not. I cannot get past the first main screen. I can't start the game, move my mouse or a controller. It's now a game that essentially acts like a PC background/screen saver until I force quit. ????
