I bought and played this game a couple years ago because funny youtube man Noodle recommended it. I absolutely love Later Alligator! It's so incredibly charming and light hearted short game. If you're a fan of part cozy and part silly storytelling and gameplay, this is definitely worth your $18. It's also super nice to support small indie game creators that make such good games

its a cute game
Very accurate depiction of NY, we're all aligators.
Exactly what was expected : Fun, simple, refreshing.
Shoutouts to all my alligamers out there
This was a good time. First of all, shoutout NYC of course. Very funny game, the writing is rarely ever doing too much. Hilarious characterization, you feel bad for almost everyone you come across. The game progresses in a very natural way, and you feel no regrets 'starting over' twice to reach the true ending. Also, the minigames are surprisingly good. Fun twists on stuff you've played before, with a lot of effort put into most of them. Buy it on sale, and you'll be happy with your purchase.
This game is painfully underrated!! I adore this game with every fiber of my being! The animations are so, SO good that I would just sometimes stare at the characters' movement cycles, mesmerized! The pure talent of these animators is just stunning to me and apparently they've gone on to work in the animation industry, which makes total sense! The ost is also topnotch and I've gotten so many tunes stuck in my head after playing! The writing is some of the sharpest I've ever seen, full of so much comedy gold! My cheeks hurt from smiling so much! The characters are all great and entertaining in their own right! And it made getting to know this massive family all the more enjoyable! The minigames are all great! Some are simple, some are a bit more difficult but they all feel satisfying to play and with that same humor that makes this game amazing! Even if you aren't a fan of every mini game there is enough variety here it never gets stale! A game 100% worth experiencing! 11/10
A short and quick point-and-click adventure that has charm in every frame and line of dialogue! A cozy mystery and a full cast of hilarious characters; the devs pull their whole heart into this game! There is only one thing I wish had been included in the game, and that is a skip button to some of the longer cutscenes, particularly the ending cutscene- the game will require multiple playthroughs to uncover all its content as well as the true ending. It's not a deal-breaker, but it would be a quality-of-life update!
I played this game at launch on a different platform and have played it four or five times since. Still one of my favorite point-and-click games of all time. It's so funny and charming. I love all the alligator characters and their portrait animations. Just a wonderfully conceived, immersive world.
