Not sure who this game is for. It has: - Puzzles/minigames that are at a, I would say, childishly low level of difficulty, like 8-12 years old. - Noire detective setting that probably will almost only really speak to people over 40. Many jokes and art choices go with it. - Some AMAZING music, like early Lucasarts levels of immersion (Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, yes I really think it was THAT good... for such a short game anyway) but a lot of it very jazzy and oldschool (fitting the artstyle), again speaking to people over 40. - Many amazing pop culture and gaming culture references that would speak to any ages. The story is... Short, basic and not very interesting. The puzzles aren't fleshed out well. The world is small. Not a lot of deepening is done with any of the characters. I don't know what this game tries to be. Seems like it's a kid's adventure game, but with so many adult elements in there. And with adult, I don't mean x-rated or anything, just stuff I think only older folks would get, let alone actually enjoy. But the MUSIC!!!!! And the totally charming NPC's! The game just OOZES charm, and is a weird little pasttime for a few hours, and for that it's good enough to recommend, also for adults. Maybe for kids too? I don't know, have no idea. Was this game meant for me? No idea. I still... Enjoyed it, mostly for the music.
its a cute game
Very accurate depiction of NY, we're all aligators.
the humor didn't click with me and i had to actually restrain myself to skipping every dialogue...
