very good game
7/10 - TLDR: I wish I could love this game; I honestly keep trying. It's both trying to be and not to be both Diablo and Path of Exile. I do recommend it, it's good, but with the caveat that it's just on the cusp of being great. It's a Hack and Slash ARPG. Colors go wow and numbers go brrrr. It's fun, don't get me wrong. The story is fairly forgettable and the environments are what they need to be, but the moment to moment gameplay is solid. The skill and passives disconnect is a bit odd but with a planner is surmountable. But that also seems to be the problem. I don't *want* to use a planner but I need one. The menu system is awkward enough to figure anything out and the tool tips are... vague? Maybe I'm wrong. Overall, it's the ENDGAME I have an issue with. Yes, there's A Path of Exile. Yes, there's a Diablo. However, there's no real hook or guidance to what, where, or how I should be progressing. I've got the levels, I've got the play style, but I don't have the gear? But I do? I think games likes these work on a plateau. You fight through the brick wall to finally get the item that sends you into the next tier of dungeons/bosses/damage and get the satisfaction of a more complete build. This feels like *CONTENT*. Streamer fodder. Maybe I'm missing something. I generally go by the rule that the more someone tells me something: the less I believe them. If I'm to believe the streamers, content creators, build guides, or even the game: THIS ISN'T DIABLO OR POE THIS IS SOMETHING BETTER AND MORE ENGAGING AND MORE COMPLEX. Sure. But it's good. Not great. And I wish it was so much more.

Top!
Quite enjoyable to me. Don't know why the game got a lot of negative review.
First ARPG for me, so bear that in mind. Gameplay is okay, can pick between WASD and mouse clicks - I ended up staying with mouse clicks like RTS games do. Graphics look good enough (but I never cared about those realistic style graphics so....). I had to import loot filters for a long while but tweaking those eventually became easier. I have been told crafting is much more forgiving than PoE2 but I don't play that so take with 10 buckets of salt. Story is intriguing, seeing the map differences between eras fascinate me. My gripes so far (in Season 4): Player Character doesn't have a dedicated text channel output. I'm a little hard of hearing at this point, so it's a bummer that I don't know what my character is commenting. We cannot customize the chat channels for that matter... I'd like the ability to have a separate (or combined) chat channel with NPC and PC chatters. Omen windows eat my frames like no tomorrow. So many entitites, the omen legit dies within 1 gulp of water while clearing the adds take upwards of minutes. Difficulty getting certain items due to poor drop rate and/or inability to target? farm (skill issue and desire detector I guess?). I'm looking at you, Aaron's Will -_ -
Adoro a evolução e o endgame!
