Easy to Learn, Hard to Master
We’re committed to making gameplay approachable for new and veteran players alike by allowing you to jump into the fray quickly and providing many in-game resources. Though don’t be fooled, Eterra has many dangers waiting for you that require a mastery of combat and build-crafting.
Zero Pay-To-Win
Last Epoch will never offer gameplay advantages by being able to spend real money. We believe in creating a fair environment for all players.

Reviews
LE is somewhere between D4 and PoE. Fun game but endgame gets pretty repetitve with limited ways to change things up.
Since D4 and PoE2 lean into dark aesthetics, Last Epoch makes an excellent gateway ARPG for younger players. After 20 hours, I'm genuinely hooked. The campaign story and characters shine, the time-travel epoch mechanic is genius, and the level/creature/sound design all feel polished. The developers clearly respect players' time - boss checkpoints let you continue mid-fight, full respec encourages experimentation, and build variety keeps things fresh.
Beyond the Krafton controversy, the game still feels not that good to play. Bugs are scattered throughout the campaign, endgame mechanics excluding weaver tree feel like "add x mobs to maps/ go to separate map' without any uniqueness, monoliths feel like a chore to grind, skills and art style make the game feel clunky/floaty, endgame gear grind becomes "wait for X legendary to drop Y LP", the warpath squeak dear god, etc. I did like the simplicity of crafting and the solo self found faction (CoF) as it makes the game feasible to play offline or without the need to interact with the competitive market prices. Also item filter customization in game was great.
The Last Epoch implies the existence of a first Epoch - and yet I cannot remember the plot of this game. Isn't that something?
