+++ easy Steam Achievements ++ 6 Trading Cards (5 would be perfect) + Story (a few Endings) is okay for Visual Novel if u dont expect to much - Short if you rush through, Choices are mostly changing (nearly) nothing) (-F12 Screenshot not working) Thx for reading. Hope u enjoy. GL HF <3
Literally junk.
There are many much better Visual Novel than this one around, this one only have choices at the end, the ends themselves being super short and as you can see, I finished the whole VN reading everything in a bit more than an hour. Seeing the price in sale, you're better picking another game such as Hatoful Boyfriend or a free one such as Cinderella Phenomenon. Bonus point for the art, it was original.
A good Visual Novel game. I recomment it. good Story. some endings. nice scenes. good graphic. relaxing music. options menu is good some good changing. nice girls. beautiful cool clothes. price is in offer alright. all achievements work.
What can I even say? The summary already tells you the entire story. Really. I don't know if someone wished to relive their last school days and seal those memories away in this "novel" or... They just wanted to make it better... But... There is nothing that comes with reading this. I don't care about there being just one sprite per character (minus the MC). I also actually found it fun to look at real life backgrounds as well. But the story............ You only get a few days to learn about other characters ("routes" whose you pick at the end) and even then... THE NOVEL IS KINETIC! So at most you spend... Barely any lines with them. That's an equivalent of you coming into a store, where a major party took place and everyone turns to look at you and someone asks you "well, what do you think?" How the hell should you know?! YOU WEREN'T EVEN THERE! That's how you feel... And the worst part? They could've easily fixed it. How? Do flashbacks. Yes. If you don't want flashbacks, do "oh I knew this guy since blah blah, he gave me a tuna as a present for my birthday". You can already tell more from that than reading this book. "Book". But what of these "routes" you spoke of in the end? Yeah okay. It's just few lines of you choosing this person or to go get coffee. At this point blowing everyone off and going to get coffee would make more sense as they are all 100% strangers to the reader. So why would you read this? How the hell should I know?! There are no feelings... No emotions... No anything that would help me answer you. As a person's memory and reliving or editing it... WORKS FINE! But as a Visual Novel? Ya gotta put in more effort. Way more effort. Okay, a hella lot more effort.
Do you remember your last week of high school? Do you remember the feeling of equal parts excitement and melancholy, as you knew your high school student days were coming to an end? How about the nostalgia that ran through your body, as you knew you’d be saying goodbye to a place that had so many memories for you? Last Days of Spring is a YA (Young Adult) Otome Kinetic Novel following a group of high school seniors in their last week of school as they come to terms with questions about love, life and destiny. Follow the steps of Yuka Kishimoto as she navigates across her final week as a high school student and sees her life come to a complete change! With a wistful and flowing narrative mixed with soothing music and a tasteful art-style this Visual Novel will bring you to a time when everything and nothing mattered. A time when you felt there was so much to explore but also so much to miss. Immerse yourself in this touching and sweet tale and decide how you would re-live your “Last Days of Spring”. Game Features: - Japanese setting but using Native English vernacular and vocabulary. - Deep and immersive story with charming and realistic characters. - High quality original and unique artwork. - Original Pop and Ambient Music - Five different endings.
This is a pretty generic visual novel that tries to evoke nostalgia for your last days in high school. The art is kinda bad and the music is even worse. At least the achievements are very easy to get.
Last Days of Spring is a very good visual novel game with a beautiful story. The graphics are nice and the soundtrack is Chill and relaxing... I recommend it. 💗💗💗
"Last Days of Spring Visual Novel" is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This is a basic "japanese high school" anime fan club plot, and it's complete garbage. So it's understandable less than one in 5 readers bothered to even finish reading the book. That's got to be some kind of record for reader rejection of a book! Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble out and you have to click your mouse every time you wanted to read the next sentence, instead of just turning the pages. You'd think it was garbage. Now imagine that experience, but with much worse writing (because if these guys could write professionally, they'd be published authors and this would be on shelves in bookstores, and they wouldn't have to pay Valve $100 to self-publish this on Steam), and you have your average Steam e-book. You don't have to take my word about how bad the E-Book is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. "Last Days of Spring Visual Novel" has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the E-Book absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for reading up to the part where the protagonist arrives at school (where the developer should have spent morre time, I think), trivial to achieve, but less than 8 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the E-Book. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this E-Book was with readers reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in reader counts for the E-Book. But this isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 8 percent of readers bothered playing the E-Book for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this E-Book to have so many concurrent readers who didn't bother to read the E-Book? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game. That tells us people only really bought this E-Book for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the E-Book just has a couple of readers every week running up the E-Book and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many E-Books like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. "Last Days of Spring Visual Novel" is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the E-Book, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. You can get better quality books and comics for free online or from public libraries, or from bookstores for a fraction of the price of this "game". Steam isn't a comic book store, neither is it Netflix, it's for games. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. It's impossible for me to recommend things to PC gamers that aren't really games.
Last Days of Spring Visual Novel is an Otome Visual Novel. Honestly, the whole thing was kind of boring. The backgrounds are all real life photos and the characters only have one portrait each which are very sketchy, the two of them don't fit together at all. The UI is very unattractive, the menu have no settings and there is no Steam integration in the game (no SHIFT+TAB and no screenshots.) The story is about the final days of high-school with your mates and crushes, which you have to choose which of the two you will end up with in the end. The endings have about 100 words of dialogue each and it's so short that you don't have the time to feel any real attachment to any of the characters from the story. The visual novel really just talks about school life and crushes, there's no action or drama or anything. The choices you make throughout the game have zero impact at all and really feel like they were slapped on there. Really, there is nothing to see here I'm afraid... at least the music is kind of decent. Just as a final warning the 'Five different endings.' advertised on the store page take about 2 minutes in total to read through! Overall, a boring visual novel that's about an hour long (if you don't rush like I did.) Not recommended from me.
