A very nice visual novel, which falls into all the "standards" of its genre and will definitely satisfy every player's needs ^^ This game, as its predecessor (of course, Last Days of Spring 1 xD), has nothing "revolutionary" but everything in its right place. Good save/load features, a great plot, many choices and different endings, a simple but overall useful and responsive user interface (you can configure the skip and auto options, sound options, text speed and so on) and really great graphics, which make a greatly blended contrast between the backgrounds, which look like real paintings and the character sprites, which are made in a standard but well-made and detailed Japanese/anime style. And well, this game actually outruns its predecessor under every aspect - mainly for what concerns the plot depth and the graphics; actually, you're not even -forced- to own the first one in order to enjoy this chapter in my opinion, definitely. Anyways, I also read many negative reviews on the first title that became positive when focused on this one, which is really an improvement under every aspect - but still, I'd suggest the player if he/she can to play through the first, short chapter of Last Days of Spring in order to get really everything right. But it won't hurt to play this one alone, in any case :) The whole story will take you many hours if you wanna see every ending, and it features your female main character who gets invited by her best friend in the States for a class reunion - the first game was about high school mates, while here Yuka has graduated five years before - and well, there will be lots of options, choices, romantic endings and also bad ones, of course! As you can see, it's a light-hearted visual novel with no adult contents or even fantasy ones; it's most reality-based and I really enjoy all these visual novels every single time if they're well-made like this one. It's not compulsory to ideate astonishingly new and fancy plots, if you're able to come up with a nice story like we're presented here :) So, as I was saying, while the first game in this small series followed the lives of some high school students who were en route to graduating, here you'll find them all already in their adult life five years later and so, there will also be more "adult" themes like friendship/relationships and grown-up responsibilities, other than the usual romance ones that still are the core of the game as they were in the first instalment. All the characters in my view are greatly designed and well-developed, I didn't find any major flaw in the whole game and if you take it as a "non-professional" issue it's a great one in this category :) If you like visual novels at all, and especially visual novels with touches of humour, light-hearted relationships and friendship, this game's really a must-buy - maybe it costs too much (and the DLC too, which is great since I loved the music, which falls mostly under a new age/lounge genre), but it's really worth to be played.. even if you didn't like that much the first chapter, which still I keep on recommending :) For every visual novel lover in the end, this one's one of the best titles here on Steam in my opinion and although it has still some flaws (mainly in the graphic field, everything could have been done better like the menus artwork, the text, the windows and so on) they're definitely nothing important - you'll for sure enjoy a lot this novel, even if you're not into this genre that much. This developer studio is really putting out very nice novels on the market and I'm always looking forward to their new games - this one's by far one of their most beautiful ones, and so, definitely recommended! :)
Too short to be called a story
Well, that pretty much sums up everything. The visual novel looked promising so I picked it up during a sale; little did I know I would be done in an hour with this story... First things first, I won't recommend it. I did like the characters and character art but that's pretty much it. The story is extraordinary shallow. It seems like character development took a vacation together with reason on the same weekend: there isn't anything to develop in such a short time and any romance option is completely awkward. I decided to spend a day with Yuri and all I could do was randomly kiss her at a certain point. That just boggles my mind! Those "more than 25.000 words" consist mostly of idle chatter about what the characters are doing and what their relationships have been (aaand that impressive menu at the restaurant). Any progression is painfully absent. I don't know what I've missed from the previous novel, but I'm glad I didn't buy it. I'm so disappointed with this game. :(
ein lesespiel für zwischendurch. kann es empfehlen. einige antwortmöglichkeiten zur auswahl. der preiß dieses spiels ist im angebot (-70%) in ordnung. hat sammelkarten. alle errungenschaften funktionieren.
Last Days of Spring 2 is a very good visual novel game with a beautiful story. The graphics are nice and the soundtrack is Chill and relaxing... As good as the first one, I recommend it. 💗💗💗
Failed to make me want to read more, and full of unnecessary reading.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw there's a part 2, but it's actually better enough to feel like a completely separate story (honestly you can skip the first one for what it's worth, you're not missing out on much). The characters look much better now, some even quite different. Took me a moment to recognize Aya, and I, uh, thought Keisuke was a girl there for a moment. (seriously though wtf XD) In any case, the visual quality of this novel improved a lot. Characters look better, and more realistic (as far as you can call anime style realistic, but if you've seen the art from the last one one, you'll see what I mean). Backgrounds are no longer just stock photos (they are stock photos with artsy filters on top), and there's actually branching paths and endings depending on your choices this time! You can die, you can date the guy that wasn't the 'canon' choice insteads, you can even have some soft yuri-moments with Yuri... Wait a minute. Perhaps the previous game was just so bad that this one looked like a godsend by comparison. I'm on to you! Is it worth the full price? I'm not entirely sure. Maybe give it a shot when it's in a bundle or on sale.
Beautiful Characters and background Artworks. Smooth and fluid transitioning. Decent and short storyline.
Игра думаю может и хорошая но так как нет русского и перевести не получаеттся, так как чтобы перевести только перый акт ушло пол дня. для рускоязычных не рекомендую.
