Last Christmas is a point and click horror game that has just enough comedy to keep me giggling... until the scares start rolling out! I had a lot of fun moving through the game and I think it had just the right amount of challenge where there were times that I got stuck, but nothing that had me running to look for a guide because I was frustrated. The story is also quite compelling and I love the commentary from the main character because he really does have something to say about everything. One of my favorite details is how the achievements are done like an advent calendar. It's just a nice little touch that shows that the developer really cared about this game. There's also a special treat at the end but I won't spoil it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHta316317o
Nice casual point and click game
Un juego que sorprende, con un punto macabro a pesar de las apariencias de sus gráficos, más triste que de dar miedo, aunque provoca algún sobresalto. Se hace corto pero parece que se avecinan nuevas entregas.
Creepy, but fun.
Very simple and straightforward point and click game that can be finished in one sitting. I liked the list-type of goal completion. Definitely play it over Christmas, especially if you like horror. The only downside for me was that I played on Steam Deck, so I wasn't able to get five of the achievements likely due to some incompatibilities (certain hot spots not showing).
The story isn't very deep and the puzzles are pretty straight forward. The game kept constantly crashing on Ubuntu 22, yet it took me only 2hrs to get all achievements, or almost all, because the bird house doesn't work on Linux. To someone who has ever played a Point and Click before this game should be no challenge, and the one little twist in the story is not enough to make it interesting. If you still want it buy it on sale ;)
Nice little game. It's very short (my playtime is misleading because it includes idle time), and it's a little rough around the edges in its UI, but it's a pretty cool indie game with soul. Pretty easy, too, but that's fine. Overall, nice experience. About the achievements: they work, but they only unlock if you go to the in-game "achievement advent calendar" and manually "open" them. Is this creative? Sure. Is it stupid design? Definitely.
I saw the ending coming early but it's still super fun!
CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED GAME!!! "I can't just use it like that" is a line that will be burned into my brain for eternity.
