I've played this game through a couple of times now, from start to finish, with no crashes or gameplay issues, and it certainly doesn't seem unfinished. It's a bit of a different take on a city builder type of game, focusing more on pairing up people with suitable spouses and jobs according to their various affinities. It's definitely more of a management game than anything. As amusing as the little touches of gallows humor are, the game does get a bit repetitive after a while, but I've found that tends to be the case with games of this genre. There are a good number of difficulty settings, so it might have more replay value if you're someone who enjoys taking on different levels of challenge. On the whole, it's a good game, and even with this genre being repetitive, I think if you look at it as sitting down to play a match of something, it's still a fun way to kill some time.
This game is genuinely addicting to try to beat. I don't think it has replayability once you complete the game (only one way to achieve the end of the game, actions will all be the same if you replay). Still it had me playing for a couple days, and was worth the purchase.
I found this game really fun and interesting... after the third try. I found after just the first run I did that the game wasn't super intuitive when it came to the long-term aspects of the game which meant that my villagers were struggling and I was frustrated with the game. Basically, I kept running out of money, didn't understand how to get more money, could recruit new villages, didn't have the right villagers for the right jobs, didn't understand the needs... HOWEVER, once I read up on the games and some tip guides, everything made more sense and I had so much fun with this game. I love the aesthetic of the game, the music, and what aspects of the village life is included. Would definitely recommend this game after giving some helpful tips.
Honestly, I really enjoyed this game. Still working on all the achievements (some are very grindy, others are VERY RNG-related.) It has a neat premise, and its satisfying from a watch-families-grow over time angle. It has so much more potential, sadly it looks like the game does not get any more updates and is complete. I would love more growth content, more buildings, more reasons to play for a longer playthrough. It also needs some honest quality-of-life help, like better menus to view families or search through villagers for certain traits, and there should be MUCH more rewards given for games where you get 50-100k prestige (you only get rewards up to 20k prestige, which leads to needing MANY playthroughs to unlock all the pics for the achievement). I got this on sale for 7 bucks, and at that price its worth it. I would NOT pay full price as you can complete a "game" in just a couple hours. If by some miracle there is ever an update with more content added, I'll update this review.
I'm extremely sad that the devs abandoned this game. It has so much potential, but currently it's unfinished. Holding out hope that they'll update it in the future, but it seems unlikely.
Too much micro-managing needed for a cozy game, too superficial for a city/resource planning game. It's called Lakeburg **Legacies** but there's not enough content to cover more than two or three generations. Okay if you get it with a major discount, but that's it.
cute, love the artstyle get it on sale
My verdict on this game is meh. It sounded so much fun at first, but turns into a drag to play. The game becomes repetitive with the achievements being based more on a slim chance than actual skill. It is glitchy and will not fork over a achievement even if you complete the task. I'll finish it to just finish it, but its by far not worth any amount of money or even the time to play the game.
Não é um jogo pra qualquer um. Mas eu adoro namoro e adoro gerenciamento. É um pouquinho 3 estrelas, mas eu me divirto muito. Dá para gastar horas nisso. A arte é muito bonita. A ideia é bem legal. As questzinhas que aparecem não são muito interessantes, mas não importa.
