About
Hypermarket Simulator is an immersive first-person retail sim where you design, manage, and grow a massive one-stop shopping paradise that goes way beyond groceries.
Turn an empty shell into a buzzing retail empire. From electronics and clothing to sportswear, frozen food, home décor, plants and more, you’ll manage a growing catalog of 540+ products under one roof.
Lay out your aisles, design the floor plan, choose where deliveries arrive, decorate and name your store, and craft the perfect shopping experience for your customers.
Stock hundreds of different products, but think like a real store manager.
Frozen and refrigerated goods must be stored correctly or they’ll spoil and become unsellable.
Set up backroom storage with different rack types, create custom stock areas anywhere in the store, and let your staff use them to keep shelves full and your operation running smoothly.
As your hypermarket grows, so does the chaos. Keep things under control by:
Installing self-checkout kiosks to reduce queues
Hiring staff to restock, assist customers, and run the checkouts
Assigning specific tasks and training employees to move faster, stock more efficiently, and work as cashiers
Find the perfect balance between speed, efficiency, profit, and service quality.
You decide what your store is known for.
Will you be the go-to place for high-end electronics, or the neighborhood favorite for everyday essentials?
Set prices, monitor what’s flying off the shelves, optimize shelf organization, and fine-tune your restocking strategy. Smart decisions lead to happy customers and a booming bottom line.
Start with a modest floor space and grow into a sprawling hypermarket.
Reinvest your profits to expand the store, unlock new departments and product categories, and upgrade your equipment.
Step by step, turn your small shop into a full-scale retail empire built around smart planning and customer focus.
Name your store, customize floors and walls, and make creative use of windows and doors to shape the perfect interior.
Add decorations, build dedicated staff areas and offices, and give your hypermarket its own personality, both on the shop floor and behind the scenes.
Step inside, grab your scanner, and see if you have what it takes to run the ultimate hypermarket.

This game is filled with a ton of issues but is somehow still fun to play. It's like none of them actually played it or have no idea what QOL does for the player. We couldn't mass order, ordering is a pain, you couldn't order from the pc, even now orders just drop from the sky. The least favorite part is the employee system for most of us, hiring people everyday sucks until you can train them. Banned me from the discord without any notice.
By far the worst in this genre! No QoL, within a few game days i was over 300 customers, shelve were constantly empty, most days i couldnt hire anyone so had to go at it solo. Its a hypermarket, why is there no deliveries, trucks?!!!! You make a big order and they drop from the sky and scatter everywhere!!! Then there's the expansions, i expanded 4 times in a row and nothing changed, store didnt get bigger, just glitchy!! Then i got the warehouse expansion where i was unable to actually get to the warehouse unless i run around the whole building!! No access to it though the store!!! This game is absolutely trash, for what you charge people for this is ridiculous when megastore simulator has been out for less time, the solo dev pumps out updates very regularly and listens to his community! And he charges less for the game that feels like so much more than this. Absolutely shameful from you, can see why youre reviewed so negatively, thats well deserved!!!! Give everyone that sank their money into this trash the fixes and content thats desperately needed!! Wish i was able to refund this!

I honestly didn't expect to spend this many hours in Hypermarket Simulator, but this game is incredibly addictive. Starting with an empty building and slowly turning it into your own massive hypermarket is such a satisfying experience. What I love most is the freedom you get. You can design your own store layout, create different departments, manage your stock, organize your warehouse, hire employees, and constantly improve your store. It really gives you that "I built this place myself" feeling. The best part about this game is that the developer actually listens to the community. The Discord server is not just there for show, the developer actively helps players, responds quickly to questions, and takes bug reports seriously. Problems are often looked into and fixed quickly, which is something you don't always see with indie games. Of course, the game is still growing and there can be some bugs here and there, but seeing how involved the developer is makes me confident about the future of this game. If you enjoy simulation, management, building, organizing, or just love the feeling of running your own store, I highly recommend giving this game a try. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that there are currently not many decoration options available. I would really like to see this expanded in the future, with more variety and options to make your store feel even more unique and personal. Can't wait to see what gets added next. Keep up the amazing work, Croissant Games!
if you just got done maxing out your supermarket in a previous game and are looking to this one for a bigger, more grand adventure, id tell you to look elsewere. the game is great and its fun to play, however the progression to unlock certain things is messed up all the way to hell. tell me how im gonna go from basic groceries, to FURNITURE SALES and then not get to expand the grocery aisle all the way until damn near level 70. why would the level to unlock a second cash register be a different level than the training furniture required to teach them to be a cashier?? i needed more cashiers in my store on day 15 and im having to wait all the way until about day 40 just so i can reach level 45 and finally train my employees to be cashiers. this training mechanic is ridiculous in the first place, much less the fact that i have access to a second cash register before i am even able to hire a second cashier. fix the level proggression, thats my only complaint. i shouldnt be buying licensing agreements for shirts and not getting an expansion for other shirts to buy until level ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 100. you cant just "throw" these games together.
fun game. did really make me upset recently though because a new update or something wiped my progress, and when i loaded it back up, there was 2 giant escalators in the store, and all progress of mine was gone. i will try to find a way to get progress back.
This one is a bit early. It needs some TLC before its ready to play. Its one that chooses to make you be the only employee for like 35 levels. That is thousands of checkouts, but checking sucks. The camera faces just away from the screen, so you cant see how much to enter into the card machine, the sensitivity is odd, customers take 10 minuets each to unload their basket, so the pace is awful, 3/4ths is dead time waiting. Over 2 hours in one run i have yet to hire a full time employee, i'm level 20 i think and the grind is just an exponential climb. There is also some odd descisions around the courser not feeling centered on the screen, no sure why that is
Really love this game, very responsive dev aswell and there always updateing and working on the game (as of june 2026) does have some glitches here and there but nothing that hidders the experice you have while playing, would recomend this is someone wanted to buy a shop sim over other shop/supermarket sims.
So 11 hours in all in all I do like the game. However, I am a bit annoyed by a few things. The lines get way to long and it takes super long for the goods to be put on the belt to scan. This slows the process down significantly. The daily hiring system is stupid. Everyday I have to pay HUNDREDs because one employee is not enough even with just one license because they keep stocking only salt and eggs. They work slow which I get because its the beginning but why are they stocking things that only need ONE more product compared to the empty shelves? So while I have a huge line of customers I have to stop to stalk... even after I spend $260 per employee per day (and thats only if they are available). This is the BIGGEST problem I have with the game. Everything else I thoroughly enjoy. So sure, I recommend but needs help bad!
Très bon jeux
