L.A. Noire

The old world charm is impressive to play through. Watching facial expressions and picking on clues really makes you feel like a detective. The traversal and movement feels a little heavy and slow but can be ignored for the detective aspects. Enjoy understand and solving a case, this game does make you think hard sometimes

Even though I only have 6 minutes of playtime, I'm returning this unfinished game. First of all, I'm aware that it's old, but come on. They had to have had at least one 60+ FPS monitor in 2011. Why is the game capped at 30 FPS? That alone makes it unplayable for me, especially when it's combined with the inability to change the resolution beyond 720p. Sure, it might be a "good" game, as some people say. However, I expected much more from a billion-dollar company like Rockstar than a 30 FPS, not-even FullHD mess. I know there are mods that can fix all of my problems, but I really don't want to download 10+ .exe files from shady websites that aren't even guaranteed to work just to play a game from 2011. I've been through this before. It usually ends with me spending three hours browsing those kinds of websites, downloading god knows how much spyware onto my old PC, and after all that, still seeing no improvement, especially with games that are over a decade old like this one. Really interesting to see how much AAA studios rely on voluntary hobbyists to fix their game, whilst studios with not so many that well paid employees don't. So, in conclusion, after 6 minutes, it's not a good bargain, even for the 6 euros. Buy one or more loafs of bread instead.

Rockstar launcher is terrible why would you possibly need that for a almost 15 year old game. Game seems good but comes with the stupid launcher.

Noire permanece como um clássico atemporal que transcende a barreira dos anos desde seu lançamento em 2011.O jogo consegue transmitir uma atmosfera incrível, despertar curiosidade e um sentimento de satisfação ao concluir as investigações. A tecnologia de captura facial MotionScan, revolucionária para a época, ainda impressiona pela expressividade dos personagens durante os interrogatórios, embora o jogo sofra com limitações técnicas na versão de PC, como o travamento em 30 FPS. É lamentável que uma obra tão distinta não tenha uma continuação ou pelo menos um remake completo que aproveitasse as tecnologias atuais.

By far one of the best detective games I've played! Story and the way it unravels through the cases is just wonderful.

great game, plays terribly on pc, for one it doesnt even start on my main monitor and has no borderless mode to fix it, secondly the game is 30fps capped and i shouldnt have to go download 10 different mods to play at 60+ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game
