Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I have several hundred hours of playtime for this little pixel game. Whoops. It's not a perfect game. But it's got a very comfortable game loop and is designed to offer a meandering experience. To compare it to the giant of the genre, Stardew Valley, Kynseed always has you going somewhere. Sure, you can mine, and farm, and fish, but you're usually doing these things as a quick stop on your way somewhere else and that makes all the difference for that relaxing feeling of taking a long walk through the world. I keep coming back to it every few years.
This is a game clearly designed with love and care. Everything works as intended, so far as I can tell, and the first 14 days of the game are really fun since you have to work around the limitations of being a child. Curfew, chores and limited options for making money made making a good amount of coins worthwhile. Once you grow up it's just fairly dull. I hate the star system for crops and other such items because some of the conditions make no sense such as 'pick on an even day or the 3rd day of the week/month' is so annoying. We already have a levelling system for our crafting, just make it simple.
There are parts of the game that are quite fun and have a lot of potential. I would not have put this many hours into playing it if that weren't the case. But unfortunately the main touted mechanic, the generational aspect, is never really utilized. I finished the main storyline before my first character was 25. Without giving spoilers, the main storyline also feels unfinished to me. I thought I caught a line from Fairweather that we were "only one third of the way through", just before I got to the Big Bad, but there doesn't appear to be any more story. I also feel like there was groundwork laid for a conflict between The Powers That Be that I hoped was going to get resolved in some kind of way? But outside of one line near the beginning it never gets brought up again. I felt like this game had a ton of really good ideas that just didn't get entirely finished, which is a bummer.
I didn’t like this game at first, the farming felt pretty bare and there were a lot of confusing systems. But after a while, once I learned each mechanic properly, it started to grow on me, and now I’m enjoying it. My only real complaint so far is how many quests the prologue throws at you while giving very little guidance. It was pretty stressful trying to remember where to go while being bombarded with multiple quests. Especially there's this part I missed my uncle birthday and then my twin saying they're having fun without me, making me really awful. This is supposed to be a relaxing game the prologue bit too much I think, things felt much more chill once you hit the adult part, though. I’ve only played the game with a controller. Mouse and keyboard control in this game really give me a headache, I feel like this game was built for a controller. Anyway, it’s a good game, lots of stuff to do, lots of minigames. It’s was pretty overwhelming at the start, but if you stick with it, it really opens up once you hit the adult part. Hoping there's Kynseed 2, I like how original it is compared to other similiar game
TRIGGER WARNING: Non-graphic human sacrifices. Thought this was going to be a cozy game and it very much was until I had to choose a human sacrifice. No story spoilers, but it's a mandatory mechanic in the game. I very much love the deeply religious and Fae-filled universe. The characters are so alive and I find myself getting easily attached. But the human sacrifice was introduced when I was already more than 2 hours into the game (the threshold for refundable Steam games). It messed with my cozy feel and suddenly everything became stressful. I'm not sure if I can continue playing. The game is beautiful and immersive. I love its many minigames. There's so much to do from shopkeeping to gathering to fishing. I adore the gossip mechanic where NPCs will give you hints about what other NPCs like/hate or how to grow/harvest things better. I adore how you get TONS of land and a huge house and lots of furniture to start out with. I highly recommend you giving this game a try as long as the trigger warning doesn't apply to you.
First. I don't enjoy Stardew Valley. I really don't. It's too grindy and repetitive. But I saw a friend playing this, and on their recommendation, got it. Now.... now I hope this gets even more, even if it's a new game with even better stuff. The best way I can describe it: Stardew + Midsommar + Fae. And it is a BLAST. I feel like it keeps surprising me. You can own shops, cook, make alchemy items, blacksmith, romance, marry, divorce, repeat, and so on. There is enough variation that it keeps me interested. My biggest complaint is probably combat. It's really the only thing that frustrates me, but if you can move past that, then it's an absolute treasure. Also.. would totally smash Fairweather.
I put 64 hours into this game and it crashed, corrupting all of my save files with no retrieval. The game was very fun, but I found the crash devastating. There are many minor glitches, but major, file-corrupting glitches are unfortunately a no-go for me.
