Very in depth, fun game
I first bought this game in early access. Played it for an hour or so, couldn't figure out how to get a container to milk the cow, and dropped it. Picked it up again slightly after full release. Figured out milking the cow, but got stuck on other mechanics and dropped it again. Picked it up recently for a third time (playing in tandem with a friend) and found that there were better tutorial elements, the gameplay felt smoother, the characters are funny and charming, the music is beautiful, the gameplay is immersive, and yes; I figured out how to milk the darn cow. All around Kynseed has been on one heck of a journey from development to where it is today, and I am happy that I got to see it grow. I think more people really need to give it a shot. It's got the beautiful immersion that so many games are missing nowadays.

It is simply a delightful game, full of whimsy and dry humour and fourth wall breaks. The art is beautiful, beyond beautiful, the only thing I am not particularly a fan of is the human npcs (the portraits to be specific), otherwise gorgeous visual, very atmospheric. I like the different mechanics that are related to the quality of various items, it takes a simple concept and then vastly expands upon it, which I enjoy. The stork that brings the babies is adorable and I like the spinning you have to do to try for one but how you can still affect the odds with various boots. When it comes to the dating mechanic, I really like the variety of dating spots, however, I would have liked some more dialogue on those dates. I know that there are many npcs and it's hard to write so much for all of them, but a few more lines would have really made the dates more memorable. I am not even halfway through the game, but I can see myself pouring hundreds of hours into this game and I look forward to it. I recommend this game to anyone that enjoys farming/cozy games that still provide a challenge and with some darker undertones. Can't wait to see that the devs have in store next, either updates, dlc or a new game, I am all up for it!
If you enjoy Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon/Seasons, you need this in your life. it was on my wish list and a friend got me it for a gift! If you enjoy: farming, shop running, loot whording, fishing, decorating, strategic fighting, and NPC interacting for favor, (including marrying and having children) you'll enjoy it. It has more teen/adult humor with refrences/puns/jokes in the most entertaining format! I ENJOY reading all the books i pick up, which are half useful and half for fun! [and yes they do organize them in tabs for those 2 things] Each talent has a 'tree'. Each shop type has its own set of how tos. Each skill/task is multiple mini games. Fishing is a bit lest stressing then most games but not dull. Your family can help on the farm which YOU asign! The map is in my opinion 3-4x the size of Star Dew. The surprises for the plot/story are entertaining and not always see-able. Each item has specific times they are best obtained to get better quality! which i highly enjoy because i always have something extra to aim for. I want to get every item to 5star at least once! Everything you do unlocks little prizes! Some are decorations for your expanding farm! Which comes with more options than i had expected! The fighting is strategic and quick paced! This is a bit more difficult then other games especially engaging and sometimes enraging but i adore it. And there are a LOT of levels to fix how hard it is. Plus many weapons/charms/wards/potions to be had! And if this wasn't enough i'm going to give a few small 'SPOILERISH' things that if someone had told me i'd have wanted to play even sooner! (not plot related/person interest things) - You can become your child - You can adopt - You can marry anyone over 18 even if they're married [they leave them for you]
