Prices

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE GAMES FROM CAPCOM Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is one of those games that feels impossible to compare with anything else. It is a strange but incredibly successful mix of tower defense, action combat, RTS and RPG elements, creating an experience that feels completely unique. From the very beginning, the biggest impression is the presentation. This game is not only beautiful it feels like a living Japanese diorama. The amount of detail, the art direction, animations and especially the soundtrack create an atmosphere that is hard to find in modern games. The music deserves special praise. It dynamically changes depending on what is happening during missions, and some tracks stayed in my head long after finishing the game. The whole audio design perfectly matches the ritualistic feeling of cleansing the mountain from demons. The gameplay loop is simple but incredibly addictive. During the day, you prepare the battlefield, rescue villagers, assign them roles and create your defense strategy. During the night, everything changes into a desperate battle where you need to command your units while also fighting alongside them as Soh. Every unit has a different purpose, and creating the right combination is the key to success. The tower defense elements are surprisingly deep, while the action combat gives you direct control over the battle instead of just watching your army fight. I also love how much personality the game has. The enemies, locations and characters feel inspired by Japanese folklore but still create something completely original. Almost every element feels carefully designed. Unfortunately, the Steam Deck experience is not as good. The game is playable, but reaching stable higher framerates is difficult and you should expect around 30 FPS with adjusted settings. My biggest complaints are the resource management between missions and some New Game Plus requirements. The true ending requires replaying the entire game, and while NG+ adds new challenges, some of them feel more like grinding than meaningful new content. Despite these issues, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is one of the most memorable games I have played recently. It is creative, beautiful and full of passion. In a market full of safe and similar games, Capcom created something genuinely different. I finished it 100% and I absolutely loved my time with it. Pros: + Extremely unique gameplay combination + Beautiful Japanese inspired art direction + Incredible soundtrack + Fantastic atmosphere + Great mix of tower defense and action combat + Many interesting units with different roles + Creative enemy designs + A lot of passion and attention to detail Cons: - Steam Deck performance could be better - Some grinding is required for upgrades and challenges - True Ending requires a full replay - Some NG+ challenges feel repetitive Highly recommended if you want something completely different from modern AAA games.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

8/10 - A lost Ps2 classic Absolutely fantastic AA title, great sound design and a unique twist on tower defence. If you temper your expectations this really plays like a lost Clover game. Really refreshing to play a title with such a limited scope and basic storyline, it isn't trying to change the world it's just a fun self contained adventure.
Great game! I already completed three playthroughs on Xbox, and I'm buying it again on Steam to support developers who create female protagonists that aren't bound by outdated stereotypes and let them wear practical, normal clothing instead of sexualizing them.
I really enjoyed this. It's a nice take on tower defense. You're always busy doing something. You don't just sit there and watch. I personally was so engaged I didn't play anything else until I finished it. It took me 46 hours to 100% it.
True ending does require you to finish on NG+
100% achievements on Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. This game is amazing! Solid 9/10. Although there's no dialogue, the story was beautifully told, especially through the scrolls and plaques. The gameplay was near perfect, and the artwork was fascinating. Easy recommendation.
A good game with better gameplay. I would say this is a mix between hack-n-slash, tower defense, and lane defense games mixed into one. The story, while non-verbally told, is not great or bad, but it does progress the gameplay. This is one of those hidden gems that is most likely seen as an under-appreciated game that AAA studios such as Capcom should be making more often. It might not be for everyone, but if found on sale, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
*steam deck* This may be one of the best games I’ve ever played. Literally combines like 20 genres of games into one.
Don't worry. It's good.
Incredible art direction, mediocre storyline, nice narration, clunky gameplay and some very slow moments in game that are boring at best, but overall a nice title.
In short, a pretty unique and niche game from Capcom, totally recommended This game will probably carve into your mind for a long time with its beautiful arts, design and music of Japanese folklore
