Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
It’s 1996 and it's raining. Your first apartment, your first quiet night away on your own. Soon after unpacking your first box, finding what your siblings packed away for you, arranging your cassette tapes, and hanging up your favourite denim jacket you accidentally crack open the back of your wardrobe, revealing a portal into your neighbours lives. Interacting and solving puzzles with their personal belongings, you begin to learn who they are, what their lives are like, and how through the lens of loneliness, you can feel connected.
Korter 1996 is an exploration of loneliness in a point and click adventure game. You can organise and decorate your new apartment and go on expeditions to other people's homes to find more items. While exploring different apartments on the block, you get to solve puzzles that will lead you to more information on each of the inhabitants. How you interact with the items in their apartments will move forward their story and through item dialogues you get to know about their lives.

It's a nice little game. I liked the aesthetics. One little bug almost drove me insane briefly but starting a new save doesn't take long. I'd play another game from them.
Dreamy and surreal point'n'click. I didn't get this style of experience with moving out so it probably hits more when it triggers nostalgia. Also arranging the flat initially seems like the gameplay but when the story takes over, there is no need for it anymore. I bet there are people who have 30+ hours in the game just rearranging items tho. The ending seemed a bit undeserved.

Short and sweet! It plays a bit like Unpacking, but the vibe is different - from the removed techno-weirdness of the 1990s to the "breaking/bending of reality" weirdness I personally love. And it's cozy, too, of course. I did have an issue (twice) where items in the to do list didn't check off properly, and then DID check off but it was pretty unclear to me what exactly did it, which was a bit frustrating, but not game-breaking. My one other issue is, I wish I could have petted that cat more.
Such a fun and nice game to relax to with fun puzzles. The music especially helped me get into the vibes!
It’s a small game with stunning atmosphere and good soundtrack. Sometimes can be tricky to go through, so I was lost in the confusion of what to do next from time to time. What was frustrating about this game is the glitches. I had to start anew two times, because the save was broken and I couldn’t proceed with the game from it. Music in the ending glitched too and played non-stop, even when I was in the main menu already.
What I can say about the plot is that it’s too short to understand what was going on and some questions were left unanswered. I wish the game was longer.
You place and stack items like books, cassette tapes, plushies, cups, hang posters and the like, while gradually solving small puzzles in a mysterious connection with other homes in the apartment building. The game has a lonely but comfortable vibe with lots of heart, and shows a side of these types of buildings that you don't see from the outside. The emptiness of the apartment you move in, where there are many storage spaces and spots to be filled, really captures the feeling of moving out and discovering that your life is still ahead of you. You start out with what you take from home, but there is still so much space to fill. What will it look like?
