Reviews
The artwork is cute and the environments look nice, although the repeated forest imagery does get a little monotonous after a while. However, the story and gameplay are insanely boring. I'm nearly halfway through and it seems to be nothing more than "depressed guy meets a dog and they wander through a forest while hunters chase them". The gameplay is just walking through an empty forest, solving some mediocre puzzles along the way and avoiding the hunters. The sound design was initially charming, but it wore off as the same sound effects kept being used all the time, particularly the singing/speaking of the human and the dog, which sounds more like honking. Due to how tedious it felt, I tried playing it in short bursts, but the checkpoint system made that a real annoyance. There are specific points where the game autosaves and there's no way to tell how far ago your last save was, unless you quit to the main menu and check, at which point there's nothing you can do if it turns out that you lost quite a bit of progress. It's usually not more than ~10 minutes, but replaying even that feels like a slog due to the issues above.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Koira is a beautifully crafted game that quietly pulls you into its world. The music is soft and emotional, perfectly matching each moment and making the experience feel alive. Even without dialogue, the story is incredibly touching, demonstrating just how powerful simple actions and connections can be. What really stands out is how the game makes you feel present, like you’re living each moment alongside the characters. It’s especially perfect to play on a frustrating day, as it’s calm, relaxing, and gives you space to unwind. The game also does a great job making each moment feel realistic in its own way. Every area has its own beauty, but you don’t interact with everything—just like in real life. The parts you can interact with feel natural and purposeful, which makes the world feel even more believable.
The dog is a very good boy 10/10
I hate not finishing games but gosh I'm just over this. The art is lovely but I'm a third of the way through and I still don't understand the point of this, how actions work (beyond keybindings; like chain connection things), or what the story is beyond "person and dog wander through scary woods." There's nothing to grab hold of me, and while you may like it (good on you for that!) I just am bored.
I should've thought it was too wholesome to be true. This game is one of the best i have ever played with outstanding music, artstyle, characters and a touching story. The music in this game is cozy, beautiful and it retains the feeling with each repeat. I absolutely loved the way they used the music for the gameplay. It made me love the music even more. The way the characters speak in music notes and the puzzles work in music notes was really fascinating to me. All the characters in the game has cute designs that makes the gameplay much more lovable. I adored the cute dog and the boar with its little colorful lines on its side. The enemy designs were creepy, mysterious and nicely done. The achievements weren't that hard to get but you do have to explore a little bit if you aren't going to use a guide. The mini games, puzzles and the tiny bit of action made the game whole. There is nothing for me to criticise in this game. I recommend this 10/10 game to whomever wants to cozy up with a hint of sadness. Good job devs.
