About
Knights Within is being developed by Indecision Labs, a solo developer working on their first public project.

Humanity is fighting for survival against the wraiths that now reign dominant in the world. Thankfully, technology is on our side. Fight your way through hordes of enemies while completing objectives to further mankind's struggle to survive.

Embark on procedurally generated missions to push back the threat of the Wraiths. Progressing through a mission grants randomized modifiers for both you and your enemies. The longer you survive, the crazier the powers get, keeping each run fresh and unique.

Create your own class by equipping gear mods for your various weapons and armor to enhance your preferred playstyle. As one of the prestigious knights protecting humanity, you have access to the most technologically advanced equipment available.

Run missions by yourself, or bring up to 3 friends to fight alongside you against the never ending hordes of enemies in your way.

Play the default mission based mode, completing objectives while struggling to survive. Or try the Gauntlet mode, where your stage progress is saved and the difficulty scales endlessly.

1-4 players (up to 8 supported unofficially)
Procedurally generated maps and objectives
Free-form combat: maintain control of your movement while always having access to your sword and firearm
Loadouts: Equip weapons, add mods to them and choose paths to create your own class
In-run progression: rogue-lite style upgrades for both you and your enemies
Meta-progression: Unlock and upgrade gear between missions
3 game-modes: Multi-Act primary mode, a smaller standard mission mode and an endless difficulty climber

Fun game, quick pace, the missions are really great. Can't wait to see more from this game.
Having a blast with this game already. Barely scratched the customization and I already feel like the tonky shotgunner I was meant to be... Also FYI, most of the negative reviews seem to forget that there's a difficulty slider lol Fun fast-paced action, good gunplay, and a frankly amazing and rewarding melee system. For a project done by one guy, it's astounding, but it definitely needs a boatload of polish. It truly shines in raw gameplay however, and if you're willing to ignore the semi-frequently plain textures, the artstyle is also incredibly fun! Would recommend already, and if they ever get around to getting this some solid polish, I'd genuinely give it a 10/10. Gameplay and gameplay alone's got me thinking 8/10, and that's even with some parts and UI's seeming unfinished all-around...
I dig it, like if Souls and Helldivers had a baby and it popped out with most of the best parts
knights Within is underrated and is a must play indie title, fighting hordes after hordes made me aroused
I didn’t play Knights Within a lot yet, but from what I experienced, the developers have made a good effort, even if the game still has a lot of work to be done. The combat has potential, the mechanics are rough and unpolished in many areas. It’s not a revolutionary or finished experience, yet it has enough charm to make trying it worthwhile, I’d recommend giving it a shot, even if it’s clear there’s room for improvement.
