Ce jeu est bien meilleur que For Sparta
"Knights of Grumthorr 2" looks like it's a genuinely developed, not asset flipped game, but genuine intentions alone aren't enough to guarantee a great gaming experience. Mostly this one is a flop more for the weak technical implementation and poor graphics than anything else. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, that's nothing.

Before I played Knights of Grumthorr 2, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
второй обзор про эту игру
☀️
In good faith I can't recommend this game. I can clearly see how much passion and love went into this project and I appreciate the effort, but I can't bring myself to go much beyond the first level. Let's start with the good things, Style, and no micro-tranactions. This game captures the charm of old school RTS games to a tee, I remember play Command and Conquer with my dad when I was younger on his crappy little laptop and having tons of fun. Part of the reason this game caught my eye was due to it's style. It felt so similar to all those years ago, even having the cheesy voicelines to boot. Also it can run on anything, seriously, My laptop is terrible However, makeup can't cover stab wounds. This games mechanics handle worse than trying to stick of hot butter up your ass. It's very clunky and, unlike all those years ago, doesn't have that sense of polish that and RTS should have. There are no movement hotkeys so you have to manually drag your view on the map or stick you cursor to the edge of your screen. Plus, controlling your units feels absolutely abysmal. I tried to select a group that was attacking some skeletons and make them push toward a different group, so I right click to move them to that point and they start running in a completely opposite direction and shouting "run away" or "right away" I couldn't quite tell. Because of course there's a running away mechanic, which wasn't explained in the lackluster excuse for a tutorial which just word vomits and expects you to remember without a 'go back' button or any explanation of any actual game mechanic to be honest. Not to mention that there is a sidebar for organizing units which is a singular one word descriptor of the formation with no visual feedback, like what is "open position" or "horizontal position", I don't know man Your guess is as good as mine. Additionally, it feels like I don't have control over my units, it feels like I'm supposed to just send them in and let Jesus take wheel, which it feels more like a 'Battle Simulator" game. EXCEPT IT DOESN'T HAVE A FAST FORWARD BUTTON. So you can't even get it over with fast. It doesn't have online multiplayer, which I know is difficult to implement so no judgement; but it would've been at least some enjoyment out of this game. TLDR; Game has style but handles like trying to tie your shoes with winter gloves on, the units are unresponsive, the ui and general gameplay is clunky. overall, save yourself the time and instead of playing this go buy (or pirate, if you really need it to be free, I don't judge) an old school RTS game like, personal favorite, Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars. Just save yourself trouble, because if time is money, this game isn't free to play
