Knight Squad is an insane 1 to 8 players chaotic arena friendship destroyer. Take on current friends and future frenemies in any of the incredibly fun game modes, ranging from Last Man Standing to Medieval soccer. All of that using only weapons from the Middle Ages… and laser guns… and miniguns.

Positives: - local multiplayer is fantastic if you can get a decent group of friends playing. absolute hectic mayhem and fast games can be tons of fun - all gamemodes are enjoyable. personal favorites are gladiator and crystal rush - all weapons are fun to use, albeit some are very situational (drills and bombs come to mind) [sidenote: explosive arrows are the most OP weapon imo] Negatives: - never seen a lobby for online multiplayer. wanted to give the online aspect a fair shake but it's completely dead sadly - playing by yourself can be very boring. single player challenges are hard, but aren't very replayable. the bots aren't particularly intelligent, but put up a decent enough challenge on extreme difficulty when they team up. Overall: I would recommend this game if you have a group of friends IRL that would be up for a chaotic party game. wouldn't recommend for those alone or with friends online, as they would all need to own this game as well to play online.
Actual garbage. My friends make me rage in this ♥♥♥♥ game. 10/10
Damn addictive for local coop. Hours of fun.
great game
kinda boring tbh
I think Knight Squad is one of the funnest 'party games' I have ever played! A huge amount of fun when you have a bunch of people to play with. The in-game art isn't the best but the game mechanics are stellar and there are tons of game modes and maps to keep things fresh for hours. I particularly enjoyed the Juggernaut, Capture the Flag, and King of the Hill game modes best but all of the other game modes are fun as well! The mayhem in Knight Squad is fast-paced and hectic as you use a large assortment of weapons and power-ups to wreck your friends' days and secure glory for thyself! Given that the sequel has come out, the current full-price of $15 USD for Knight Squad feels steep so I'd 100% recommend getting this game only when it's on sale - I'd reckon it's a fantastic value in the $3-7 USD range.
Simple but effective gameplay and an instant party hit among all ages
This is a 2D retro top down console ported single screen arena shooter. Control a "knight" and kill undead or other players in co-op or PvP in a variety of blocky arenas. As usual, the basic rule of thumb applies, if the game tells you to use a console peasant playpad controller, it's not a PC game and that means it's not a good game. While the developers addressed the very bare minimum (changeable resolution, customisable controls), the rest of the game is left as peasanty as possible. No mouse support at all (for a game released in 2015!). While most console ports are garbage, and this is no exception, the developers seem to think PC gamers will pay console peasant prices, they want $21.50 for this. $1.50 more than the console peasant appliance version, which is completely inexcusable.
the game is some good fun to play with your friends
It's unreal how much fun this game is for its simplicity and one-sidedness.
