Merek's Market

The game is very fun, very quirky. There are some flaws to the game though and I think they really hold it back. Co-op does not feel tuned to only 2 players. Some of the stores are huge and one or two extra people would make a world of difference. This is a big drawback for me. And while the general concept is very fun, some of the side stuff they add just feels poorly tuned and unfun (again, especially with only 2 players). Trying to control the mouse population or the level where both the queue and iron/coal/clay are controlled by pressure switches just feels bad. 10/10 for 'boss' levels. Also enjoyed the mechanic with the endless dropping items. With a little TLC, this game would get a 10 of 10 overall for me. Right now though, I'd have to leave it at a 6 or 7 (for co-op play).

Really fun game - like Overcooked without the frustrating bits. I liked the humour and there's plenty of different levels to complete

Great Game, I really enjoyed the co-op mode the most. It hard but fun, you can get into a good flow which is great. Mostly I played with my Wife but 4 player would be amazing.

Es kann entweder in der Einzelspielerkampagne oder zusammen mit Freunden gespielt werden. Hierbei passen sich die Maps & die Schwierigkeit an die jeweilige Spieleranzahl an. Das Spiel spielt im Mittelalter. Du bist ein Händler und stellst allerlei Objekte her. Von Level zu Level steigt die Anzahl an Objekten welche du herstellen kannst, dies geht vom Zauberstab, über Schwerter bis hin zur Ritterrüstung. Kunden werden deinen Laden besuchen und dir ihr Wunschobjekt nennen. Dann gilt es, dies schnell herzustellen, abzugeben und den Kunden zu kassieren. Der Kassiervorgang ist hier interessant gestaltet, denn man muss den Kunden nicht einfach durch einen Klick abkassieren sondern man muss eine bestimmte (angezeigte) Tastenreihenfolge eingeben. Wird diese fehlerfrei eingegeben, aktiviert sich der Multiplikator, der dir mehr Geld pro Verkauf ermöglicht. Es ist empfehlenswert das Spiel sowohl alleine als auch mit Freunden zu spielen, denn die beiden Modi unterscheiden sich etwas, während man im Einzelspieler natürlich alles selbst managen kann, geht es im Multiplayer in manchen Leveln darum Hand in Hand zu arbeiten, indem Spieler nur bestimmte Bereiche haben und sich gegenseitig Objekte zuwerfen müssen um craften und verkaufen zu können. If you like overcooked sesh this

To be honest, I thought the graphics would have made this game unplayable, however, I pleasantly surprised with this game. If you have played Overcooked or Witchtastic, this is certainly a fun game to try out. pick-up, throw, crafting, smelting, and mini-games are some of their features. I was surprised to see that the Campaign game and the multiplayer game are actually set-up quite differently and to fully beat the game you would have to play both. A nice game to play with my wife.

Prepariamoci a un viaggio nel caotico mondo di Merek’s Market, accompagnando il nostro eroe attraverso una cinquantina di missioni disseminate sulla strada di una campagna principale in cui dovremo darci da fare per portare a termine svariati lavoretti semplici per soddisfare i bisogni dei più poveri, sperimentare nuove ricette del nostro fedele libro per realizzare oggetti più complessi, sfruttare al meglio il fuoco della forgia per fondere varie risorse e dare vita a nuove opere di pregio per attirare l’attenzione degli esponenti della nobiltà, correndo come pazzi da una parte all’altra del nostro negozio per servire ogni cliente in tempi rapidi per poi riscuotere il pagamento in monete sonanti per i nostri sforzi, avviando con successo svariate sessioni di negoziazione con la nostra clientela per ottenere ricchi guadagni dalla vendita di asce, bastoni, vasi di ceramica, armature, pozioni e molti altri oggetti che di volta in volta potremo creare nei vari livelli della campagna in singolo, accettando la sfida di colossali lavori su commissione suddivise in più fasi per mettere alla prova tutte le nostre abilità di titolare, superare con agilità e tempismo alcuni minigiochi di precisione per portare a termine i lavori nei tempi richiesti, accumulare fiumi di monete d’oro e ampliare così lo sviluppo del nostro negozio, ottenendo l’accesso a nuovi strumenti per creare un ampio arsenale di risorse, oggetti e gingilli per fare fronte a tutta l’assurda clientela che verrà a trovarci in negozio, rifiutando con freddezza le richieste surreali o addirittura convincendo con la forza certi strani clienti a desistere dai loro folli propositi mentre cercheremo di rifornire l’intera città da soli o in compagnia dei nostri amici nella modalità cooperativa in locale, amplieremo ulteriormente il nostro negozio e incanteremo poveri, ricchi e mostri con le nostre pazzesche opere d’artigianato per accumulare una grande fortuna che farà scalpore in ogni angolo della città. Merek’s Market è un nuovo titolo arcade in salsa fantasy che ci porterà a vivere una nuova avventura come titolare di un negozio che dovrà darsi da fare per soddisfare i bisogni delle classi più povere, assecondare i capricci di quelle più ricche o portare a termine gli incarichi più strani che si presenteranno nel corso delle varie vicende di una trama disseminata in una campagna in singolo tra momenti epici, situazioni assurde e siparietti comici che potrebbero coinvolgere gatti parlanti, draghi giganteschi, cavalieri onorevoli e molti altri personaggi che presto o tardi incroceranno il loro cammino con quello del nostro Merek. Absolute chaos, loads of fun on our own or get your mates in via couch co-op (we used Steam remote play and it worked a charm!)

Very good game for co-op and single player quite challenging at times with a good variety of levels.
