This game is so chill and yet so addictingly fun! The music adds such a nice atmosphere to whole experience. Definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys cafe style games like Cat Cafe Manager.
This game is amazing!! Super perfect cozy game with great vibes, visuals, music, story, gameplay, everything! If I'm being picky, the only improvement I would suggest it tightening up the UI when laying out stations/preparing your menu (especially when you have so many options at your disposal late game). But overall I love this game, it's incredibly relaxing and brings me a lot of joy.
el gameplay se puede llegar a sentir un poco repetitivo. Pero tiene un lindo final y dura lo que tiene que durar.
Incredibly fun and addicting gameplay, well paced with cooking levels and story bits. Unique combination of visual novel, cooking/time management, and real time with pause RPGs. Somehow you made it work! I really hope you release a sequel or other games like this, I will buy them in a heartbeat.
Kitchen Sync: Aloha is a passion project, and it shows. The concept is simple, the plot is relatable, the gameplay loop is easy to grasp and the food is delicious (don’t play the game hungry lol). However it’s not a game you can expect to play for many hours on end, because it soon becomes repetitive. You take two chefs and put them into a kitchen, and your task is to choose what’s on the menu, cook it and serve it to your customers. There are small variations: some kitchen stations break if you overuse them, customer come up to ask you questions or having to serve a VIP a certain dish with the amount of stars equal or more than their HP. All of these are, unfortunately, not enough to keep the game engaging, so personally I only play it for like 2-3 levels (15-20 minutes) per game session and then put it away. I think the game could benefit from a few more mini games apart from the events available in it (props for adding swap meet! It’s a fun way to get rid of unnecessary equipment and get something in return). Another tiny gripe I have with the game is that character portrait are not uniform in artistic style. Kala, Kai, Uncle, Hina, Drew and Lono all look like anime characters, whereas Pele resembles a Hades character, and Ana and her boss are drawn in a style that is different from the previous two. It doesn’t affect the impression of the game much, just something you can’t unsee once you notice it. All in all, it’s a good game and I hope the developer continues to expand on it.
really soild cooking game, and proof that more games should use the fire emblem supports system. I hope they add more supports and a way to do outing without the protognist so they are easier to build espically late game
A little grindy, but since the grind was turn based cooking, I had fun with it. Someone please tell me what a lunar station is because l am lost.
if you like story driven games but want them to also have more than just reading dialogue - this game is for you. I really enjoy the cozy cooking minigames as well as the story. I simply ADORE that you can ship the characters with each other - it is so much fun and I definitly see myself playing this more than once for this alone. I love a good romance and the different romance options for each of the characters are so much fun to explore. The gameplay is a lot of fun, challanging at times but not too much - still cozy. The characters are a lot of fun to get to know and I really can not recomend this game enough!
Pros: Super fun gameplay, addictive, i just love cooking and the mechanics!! All the characters are charasmatic, quirky and adorable. Plot is the strongest point, very fun, engageing, and you can see the thought put into the cultural parts. Worth every penny, you'll be playing for hours!!! Cons: MC is chopped, she just looks ugly next to the cast. No charisma. MC has the least amount of chemistry i think with each cast member. I wasn't ever really touched by anything except for the moment with Ku in his S scene. That was the most chemistry she had with any of them. Which made me sad cause i liked Drew, but even then i was shipping him and hina more cause their story just suited more. sadly I shipped literally everyone else with each other waaaay more than with the mc.... :( Still cute thou. <3
very cute and wholesome :) also it makes me hungry
