Super simple concept, good execution. It is exactly what you see in the store page, nothing more nothing less. Took me 3 hours to complete and get all the achievements.
This game feels shallow and unfinished, offering almost no meaningful progression or variety. Core features you’d expect from even the simplest rogue likes — like saving, build diversity, or evolving mechanics — are missing entirely. Character options are extremely limited, and most abilities add so little to a run that they may as well not exist. After about 30 minutes, you’ve effectively seen everything the game has to offer. The weapon pool is tiny, and only a handful of items are actually viable, which makes every run play out in the exact same way. Even the weaker weapons fail to introduce any real gameplay variation. I earned every achievement in roughly three hours, and every run felt identical, repetitive, and dull. With no reliable defensive tools, the “optimal” strategy devolves into constantly flicking between the centre and edges of the screen — a pattern that becomes boring almost immediately. Overall, the game lacks depth, variety, and basic quality-of-life features, making it feel more like a prototype than a full release.
Jogo curto porem interessante com alta rejogabilidade e legal para passar o tempo
The game is fun. it has a good concept, satisfying sound effects and visual effects but the problem is how little content it has especially considering not much as been added since the demo version of it. There is only 6 different weapons to choose from, about 12 different upgrades and 1 boss fight at wave 50 and then it continues endlessly with the same enemies over and over. After an hour or less you would have already unlocked and know everything about the game so it gets boring. I don't think it's worth 5 dollars. If your looking for a better rougelike game with more content for the same price I recommend "20 Minutes till dawn" as it has more enemies, different maps, upgrades, skill tree (called runes), weapons and characters with their own uniqueness that you can pair together to make a powerful build.
The lack of meta progression and meaningful upgrades outside of getting new swords hurts the experience a bit. As you're only farming currency for new swords, there's little to no reason to continue to do runs unless you absolutely want the different unlocks. But that's about it. It's barebones, and as others in their reviews have said, you've seen everything by your third game. The music got on my nerves after about 2 minutes, and I turned the volume almost all the way down. Its the same looping track, what feels like about 30 seconds of the most generic music you could think of.

CURSORBLADE, is a fairly challenging bullet-hell and simple rogue-like game where the character is your cursor. It is one of those game that just doesn't have quite enough items and weapon upgrades to really give you the highs and lows of a rogue-like. The bullet-hell is challenging, but not quite in the most satisfying way. Since SO many enemies start getting packed into the games, there is little skill on dodging, and the game starts becoming a slow task of killing outlier enemies one by one until the mess is more manageable. That doesn't make it a horrible game but if you're looking for that satisfying node-buster style gameplay, this just isn't it. PROS: - Fun weapons and items - Charming artstyle - Easy controls (of course) CONS: - Little rogue-like aspects - Few items/weapons - Poor hostile clarity The game is well-paced since it is quite short, and you run out of content extremely quickly too.
awww sooo adorable <3 i named my cursorblade "Custard" which i find very fitting
เกมสนุกครับเล่นเพลินๆดี เสียดายยังไม่มีคอนเทนมากเท่าไหร่
