Great 3D platformer collectathon game with a cute fox. Around 15 to 25 hours gameplay if you want to 100% Difficulty is nice and adjustable at any moment from the pause menu, which makes puzzles harder, hazards faster and you have leass health. The worse the game has its camera acting weird sometimes, and some of the power ups are a bit repetitive I recomend picking the game up when it has a nice discount if you enjoy this kinds of games
When I played this game I kept reminding myself that this is still an Early Access, it felt like a finished product for the most part... until the game indeed said that a certain area is the end of the current version. Make sure to join the Discord server, the devs are wonderful people. When I mentioned I had found a performance dropper bug, it was fixed the very next day. Recommended!
Foxes against spiders, where have I seen this before... Ahem, anyway, This is quite good game reminiscent of N64 era 3D-Platformers, albeit not entirely matching up to the bigger titles of the time. There is a lot of charm to it, but there was still the ever-niggling feeling that it could have been better throughout most of the game. A bit more polished visuals and gameplay would have really elevated it. Don't get me wrong though, it works perfectly fine mechanically, other than the framerate tanking slightly in one or two spots. Disregarding the lingering taste of somewhat wasted potential, it was quite fun to play, ultimately. Also, foxes cute, do buy.
great little puzzle platformer. feels like mario 64. works perfectly on steam deck
I wish there will be a sequel
What a shame, I so wanted a game with a non-anthropomorphic fox that wasn't just about a slow exploration like all the others, and the first hours were a blast, but the more you go forward in the game the less the platforming and obstacle mechanics resulted imprecise, and since a lot of sections of this game instead want a lot of precision, I'm not putting up with the game own lack of precision anymore. A shame, because if not for this, it would have been a complete blast
Hate to leave a thumbs down but the game is unfortunately not polished enough when it comes to its core component: platforming. You know how, with good platformers, you eventually learn to trust the game and know your character will jump exactly the distance you expect him to jump and land exactly where you expect him to land? This does not happen here - jumping is very floaty and I found myself consistently miscalculating and overcorrecting. This is okay for the first few hours, but much less so once the difficulty ramps up. Game is pretty generous with checkpoints but that doesn’t give any of the fun factor back. Graphics are meh, but the atmosphere is cozy and the characters are funny - it’s not at all all bad and I hope the devs will improve on the formula!
I had a great time playing this game. It was a nice little indie game that seemed to be a very core collectathon 3D platformer with a lot of Rareware inspiration. My favorite thing about it was all the power-ups and how they felt pretty original, especially the hydrophobic mushroom. The areas were all unique and interesting and I really liked going between areas through backdoors to find hidden collectables. The game also does a great job of helping you "clean up" missing collectables by giving hints and upgrades to find them. Only things I didn't particularly like were the juxtaposition between the "realistic" texturing on the animals and stylized texturing on the maps, the platforming could be a little janky mostly because of the character being long, and I ran into a glitch where there was a lot of unplayable lag in some areas that I had to reboot the game to fix.

This is a charming little platformer, but there's a bunch of little things that keep it from being all that good. Game desperately needs a run button, for something so Spyro-like, you don't get a charge to speed around the sometimes painfully large maps, even with teleporting stumps to alleviate the issue. There's a few other questionable design choices like how you have to repeatedly jump to climb instead of just . . . climbing normally; I have no idea why it was implemented this way and it makes things annoying. Aside from that, the games pretty fine, and the early parts are pretty fun and, like I mentioned earlier, pretty charming. This fades after a while just cause the levels are pretty huge and some of the collectibles tedious to get. I would've sworn my playtime was much higher than what it is as of writing, everything in the game just takes a lot of time due to how pointlessly large the levels are. It's one of those games where at some point I decided I had enough and wanted to finish it ASAP. I remember in the tree level getting to a sliding puzzle with multiple stages of puzzles, very basic stuff. After finishing a number of them, I gained access to a second level above me. What was in store above me? . . . Another larger and trickier sliding puzzle. I went and looked to the level above that and could tell by the size of the platform that it was another even bigger sliding puzzle. I hightailed it to the boss at that point. The final boss fight was pretty fun and challenging; on standard difficulty, the health pickups were pretty important as you have to hit him 12 times total to win and there is no checkpoint, though you can get healing occasionally. It was almost annoying at times with his main attack being particularly tricky to dodge and the hazards that come up are tough to navigate, but it took me few attempts to beat. The boss fights in the game are generally pretty good; the toughness there is pretty enjoyable compared to the level's difficulty largely coming from traversing distances and tedium. The game has plenty of hidden collectibles to find, but they feel too much of a pain to find. I like collectathons a ton, but I got taken out of the game pretty early for various reasons. I'd still recommend it on sale, it goes for pretty cheap, and it's worth it at that price. Just don't expect it to go into it and get enthralled enough to 100% it like the best platformers manage to do.
