very good indie rpg inspired by the likes of old SNES rpgs like chrono trigger, live a live, final fantasy 6, etc. this game surprised me. the story was very enjoyable, very fun combat system, and a banger soundtrack. it was a very cozy game and was overall a very enjoyable experience. would HIGHLY recommend this and would love to support the creators as much as I can. if you are a fan of old SNES rpgs, this is right up your alley. 9/10

I had a good all around time with this JRPG, but it was not a smooth ride. First, what i like about this game the most is the very unique setting of a world of trash, i think its very funny, but it was not fleshed out like i thought it was going to be. For example, the dialogue uses terms related to trash all the time as a form of slang, which is a good addition, but suddenly they start using modern English terms, which took me out of the world completely. This form of inconsistency is the tone of the whole game, sadly, in every area. In spite of this, the story is interesting enough to keep you wanting to come back and see what's next, but don't expect to be emotionally invested or anything. It starts very interesting, but by Act III you roll your eyes out because of the game falling into cliches of the genre, like the typical McGuffin "go and grab these set of powerful items", that slows down the rhythm of this game. The music is fun to listen too, but it isn't anything memorable. The combat is engaging, and i appreciate the option to avoid enemies and run at any time. All the dungeons are a couple of screens long (which i liked a lot), and the bossfights at the end are very fun, which helps with the pacing feeling well balanced in spite of the slowdowns of the story. If you like JRPGs and you are looking for one to play, play this game, but don't put it in your priority list if you have better ones at your disposal. Score: 8/10.

The world is garbage...but at the same time, it's beautiful. Also, I first thought this was gonna have a sort of message about the importance of recycling or something. [spoiler]Recycling *is* a thing in the story, but not in the way you're probably thinking.[/spoiler]

Fantastic RPG that recreate the feeling you had playing old school jrpgs while having it's own identity and a neat and simple but very fun battle system. There's some irritating and clunky platforming in the last third of the game but you have to admire the care that went into giving each character it's own action in the world outside of battle. The story is very good and heartfelt with some drama and the characters are very likable. Anyone who like turn-based rpg should jump on this game!

I came across this game by sheer chance and I can't say I am regretting my purchase! Had no expectations but so far it is very entertaining with laughs and at times surprising amounts of feel. The story has me locked in and I am eager to get through to completion. It has beautiful pixelart and a quite diverse and fitting soundtrack. Lastly I do love the setting of the game. Its extremly different from anything I've ever played and I catch myself laughing at the trash-puns alot However I will say that some aspects in the game are frustrating, especially as previous reviewers stated around the Act 3 mark, some errors in the animation do break through and the platforming does fail at times to infuriating levels. I dearly hope there is going to be improvement by the devs. it is quite solid with rough edges, get it if you love JRPGs.

Great game. The story is some serious stuff. You get character development, you get great pacing, you get parties breaking up and reforming constantly, keeping things narratively fresh, you get set pieces, like a jailbreak, a heist, multiple battles... Quite impressive. The world also feels huge. you'll visit numerous kingdoms, each with several cities, each with their own kind of people, customs, and problems. And the quest of the characters is felt by the world, and fits nicely. The visuals are great, sound design and OST is solid but not up to the best in the genre. As for the gameplay, I really loved the freedom of movement and the platforming elements, didnt expect that in a turn based RPG. The combat is a bit hit or miss though. some fights dragged on a bit too much, and some others if you don't come with a specific comp (lategame you can field 3 out of 6 characters and CANNOT swap them in combat), you're guaranteed to lose. the best strategy always kinda seemed to be buff your characters, debuff enemies defense, and go ham. I enjoyed the positioning element of combat a lot however.outside of combat, there isnt really any itemization other than "equip this recent sword who does +3 damage" or customization besides "pick between one of those skills" (which you can swap freely afterwards). but overall, its a really great package, a cohesive experience, not shy on content and mature themes, with very endearing characters, great villains, some really strong narrative pacing.

Great game if you're looking for a story driven turn based RPG, I felt like there was a decent ammount to see and do in this game, and really felt I got what I paid for
