Queenchantment

I found this game with a lot of my indie developer friends on Twitter. I have to say I love the aesthetic as it reminds me of the card game Boss Monster a lot. There is some initial grinding but so far the game works fine and plays like a typical tower defense game. I kind of wish the enemies were a bit more animated. I was very surprised when a Ram showed up to run at my defenses! The hotkey for the tower defense is ok, but I feel like the game would be a little better if it took the approach that plants vs zombies did by making the player pick their defenses before hand. I feel like I got my money's worth out of the game and that it is worth the discounted price I paid, but the full 19.99 is reasonable given that fast food is 11-13 these days. Verdict - worth the money in it's current form and I can't wait to see it get better as the developer adds more traps and enemies while polishing it up along the way.

The graphics are nice but there is just too many flaws, oh and a warning to those about to buy the game is very much incomplete with a good chunk of the perk trees stating 'not out yet'. I believe that the way the game is played is fundamentally flawed and I do not see a way they can make the game fun, there is just so little player agency and lack of counterplay to some units. The gameplay loop involves two resources Scrap and Gold , gold you get from killing enemies and scrap you get from the enemies killing your towers , thats right the game is designed with the idea of killing your own towers, which is fine by itself but it really doesn't FEEL good. My main gripe is the lack of ways to defeat certain unit types other than throw more towers at it. for example there is a healer unit which obviously heals so you've gotta set up a burst of damage rather than sustained damage, but there's just no way of targeting that healer until everything else is dead other than spamming spike traps below there feet, which just isn't fun. now the obvious way of fixing that would be to add the ability to change target priority to the mid tier units but that's where the fundamental design of the game hurts it , since your towers have to be destroyed there are units which target your mid tier units ( the ledge in the centre of the screen in the screenshots) so you have to move your defense line up to deal with them but then the problem of the healers repeats itself. I JUST DON'T FIND SPAMMING FLOOR TRAPS UNDER THE ENEMIES FUN AND ENJOYABLE. Highly Do not recommend until they do some game design miracle of making playing the game feel good and feel like your placements matter

Горизонтальный пиксельный ТД, где мы в роли генерала Лича сдерживаем армию Короля, используя для этого всевозможные ловушки и злобных прислужников. Ветки прокачки достаточно интересны, но сам процесс игры немного однообразен. Во главу угла быстрый спавн наших ловушек и существ, так как в процессе волн они имеют несчастье быстро выходить из строя. Графически игра соответствует атмосфере подземелья, пиксели тут смотрятся симпатично.) Неплохой вариант разнообразить коллекцию ТД, из минусов высокая цена (берём по скидке). Игра про защиту лича, который непонятно зачем похитил девушку и проводит какой-то ритуал. Как и в любой “защите башнями”, нужно строить различные ловушки на пути следования разнообразных врагов. Ловушек немало, но есть проблема - у ловушек ограниченный запас прочности. Например, поставили шипы и через них прошли солдаты - ловушка разрушится. Причём, нет такой ловушки, которая бы была эффективна при любом раскладе: на поздних уровнях вас просто закидывают пачками врагов, которые, в сумме, являются контерпиками любым вашим ловушкам, что дико бесит и превращает игру, в какой-то кликер, где вам нужно с особой проворностью ставить новые ловушки, взамен уничтоженных, иначе - гамовер. Из уничтоженных ловушек выпадают запчасти, которые используются для строительства более продвинутых устройств. Помимо этих запчастей, для покупки необходимо золото, которое выпадет из убитых врагов. Также, из поверженных вторженцев выпадают души, которые тратятся на апгрейды между уровнями. И эти апгрейды стоят очень много душ, поэтому, игра как бы намекает, что необходим фарм на одной и той же локации, пока не купишь что-то получше. Всего доступно тридцать уровней, но каждые десять уровней локация одна и та же, т.е. локаций всего три. Можно было бы сказать, что у игры есть потенциал, но последнее обновление было почти год назад и у меня нет особых надежд, что в игре что-то кардинально изменится.
