非常好游戏使我开心
This game is a masterpiece. After playing it again and finally getting the 100%, I now think it's the best of all the Kingdom Rush games (previously thought origins was the best) and one of the best tower defense games ever. Pretty much everything in this game is amazing. The towers are all really fun with big improvements from the first game, especially the mechs and necromancers which are pretty much unmatched by any other tower in the series in terms of fun value. I personally think the level design is also better than the previous game and heavily challenges origins for best levels in the series. The enemy factions are all so enjoyable to fight against, especially the jungle tribes and the undead. I absolutely love the jungle world, it brings back so much nostalgia and is so fun to play in. The heroes are great, all feel unique in their own way and are all pretty good, though some are definitely better than others which tends to be the case when you have like 20 heroes to pick from. There's so many strategies you can use to beat levels, and it doesn't feel unfairly challenging even on the hardest difficulty. The only thing I could complain about is that the final world does feel a little weaker than the other worlds, but I think that's more because the first two are so good rather than it being bad. Personally, I also think Blacksurges are a dumb enemy that feel like they don't work properly. Besides that, I have zero issues with the game. It runs great, plays smoothly, and is extremely addicting. I cannot recommend Frontiers enough.
This was my first Kingdom Rush game. I loved old web tower defense games, so when I found this franchise on Steam I was really excited. At first I didn't like the hero and reinforcements/meteor abilities, I wanted just a standard tower defense; overtime I grew to appreciate the place they had in the game and the variety they created. This is the first and only game I've earned 100% of achievements, on a Steam account I've had for well over a decade; make of that what you will. If you like tower defense games, you'll like Kingdom Rush Frontiers. I look forward to trying the others in the series.

great game, good options for towers
Kingdom Rush: Frontiers takes everything that made the original game great and expands it into a larger, harsher, and more unpredictable world beyond the borders of Linirea. If the first Kingdom Rush established the kingdom’s defense, Frontiers shows what lies beyond it—where order breaks down and ancient forces begin to resurface. The game begins in the frontier region around Hammerhold, a strategic stronghold that quickly becomes the center of conflict once powerful dark forces begin moving in the shadows. Among these threats is Lord Malagar, whose actions set off a chain of events tied to forbidden artifacts and corrupted power connected to the Tear of Elynie. Malagar’s goal is not simple conquest. His actions are driven by a deeper ambition—to recover and transport a powerful relic capable of influencing ancient entities like Umbra, a being bound by imprisonment and dark influence. This creates a much darker and more mystical tone compared to the first game, where threats were more grounded in traditional warfare. From this point onward, Frontiers expands the Kingdom Rush universe in a major way. It introduces entirely new regions, enemies, and environments—from deserts and ruins to jungles and cursed lands—each with their own identity and strategic challenges. Gameplay-wise, Frontiers refines everything from the original game. Towers feel more specialized, enemy variety is significantly expanded, and hero units are more impactful than ever. The difficulty is also noticeably sharper, forcing players to adapt constantly rather than rely on a single strategy. What makes Frontiers especially memorable is how it deepens the sense that the Kingdom Rush world is much larger than Linirea alone. The conflict is no longer just about defending a kingdom—it’s about containing forces and artifacts that should never have been disturbed in the first place. Even today, it remains one of the strongest entries in the series, balancing gameplay depth with an expanding and increasingly mysterious lore. 10/10 — A massive expansion of the Kingdom Rush universe that elevates both gameplay and worldbuilding.
Kingdom Rush Frontiers 100% Achievement Review - This was so refreshing. Constantly having played Kingdom Rush for so long growing up, fully exploring this game was a treat. While this game is beyond more difficult, I loved every minute of it. Each stage is unique and I think the enemies are aggravating in a fun way. The Kingdom Rush series does not disappoint and I am very excited for more. If you love tower defense, please play this. New towers, abilities, heroes, it is so fun.
after beating jungle and all the other kr games on veteran a very long time ago, ♥♥♥♥ the jungle burn down every single tree every single inhabitant of the jungle deserves to be burned, except the chompvines they aight
any price is a cheap price, the epitome of Tower Defense genre
Short, but still fun game. But the difficulty is confusing: it heavily relies on your hero choice, hero level, upgrades. In most games developers adjust the difficulty for the player, but here it's the player who decides how difficult they want this to be. Also, you need to figure out which towers and tower abilities suck, but, at least, in this game, it's only 1 T4 mage tower that is useless.
