Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 13 → 7.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Was expecting a more casual experience. Feels like by level 3 its already requiring far more effort than I care to put into it. Expected mindless mobile game, got actual strategy instead. Suppose thats a good thing for fans of this genre.
"Kingdom Rush Frontiers"

1. First Impression
Personally, it was a pleasure to return to the world of Kingdom Rush and the tower defense genre. My concerns about the gameplay simply repeating first part were cleared. Unlike the mobile version, I didn't have to make separate purchases for DLC content like new levels and heroes. Frontiers part also features a ton of Easter eggs that are a delight to discover across the new levels.
2. Variety

Enemies. Visually, the enemies differ from those in the first game, though many will feel familiar in terms of function. At the same time, we encounter entirely new enemy types with unique special abilities, requiring specific strategies to overcome them.
Heroes. Thanks to the new hero progression system — where a single hero can possess up to five unique abilities, compared to just two in the first part — heroes can and will become our most effective tools for securing victory on higher difficulty settings. Especially when our hero reaches max level. And yes experience is stored regardless of level.
Bonehart is actually an OP hero. Groups of enemies fall before him.

Replayability. Even though the game involves constantly building and upgrading towers and managing units, the gameplay never felt boring to me personally. You remain constantly engaged in the process of holding back waves of enemies, especially on higher difficulty.

3. World / Level Design

Enemy wave paths. I liked how, on certain levels, new paths to the objective open up for enemies as you progress; as a player, you have to stop them and focus specifically on these new routes. It can be a bit disorienting when you encounter this for the first time :)
Visuals. Just like in the first game, I really love the game's art style. Simple shapes and forms are paired with details that blend together. It’s also nice to know that everything on screen was hand-drawn.

4. Difficulty

"Veteran" difficulty. This is the difficulty setting I used to complete the main campaign — though I can't say the same for the DLC. The game demands precise tower placement and effective combinations to achieve the best results. Starting at this difficulty level is very tough, as the talent tree is almost entirely locked, and tower specializations only unlock after reaching certain levels, and your hero level is quite low.
The walking artillery tower and its missiles are overpowered.

5. Personal experience
The most satisfying part of the game was when my hero reached level 9 or 10. My favorite hero throughout the game was Bruxa. Thanks to her magic attack type and high DPS — generated by a swarm of flying skulls—the hero essentially transforms into a high-level walking tower. It was often frustrating that initial tower placement strategies didn't always work as intended. This happened quite frequently on higher difficulty settings. You’d find yourself halfway through a level, realizing you couldn't hold the waves and would have to start over. I’m referring specifically to levels featuring "parasites" — enemies that move very fast; if your units are weak, these parasites evolve into an even bigger problem: Reapers. My use of the crystal shop was limited to purchasing ice potions to stop enemies at the end of the route. Unlocking the full list of achievements wasn't too difficult. Sure, in some cases you have to go AFK-ish for a bit, but otherwise, there’s nothing complicated about it—especially on easy difficulty with maxed out hero.
6. My Advice
If you run into trouble completing a level, always try two different tower placement strategies: [olist]
Focusing tower attacks on a single spot (ideally where enemies group up),
Using a larger number of less-upgraded towers spread out along the level's path. Classic one :) [/olist] Also, always consider the type of damage your hero deals against the current enemie resistance type.
7. Final Verdict
Overall, I enjoyed the game throughout every level. The gradually increasing wave difficulty, the wide range of heroes and abilities, the extensive list of enemies, the variety of tower specializations, and the upgrade tree make this Tower Defense game dynamic—avoiding the static feel found in some other titles of the genre. In short: I recommend it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3744052945

游戏作为塔防游戏来说玩法还算丰富,规划好后比较解压,就是关卡太少了,并且英雄上的配置不是很合理。总体上值得玩!
