Kingdom: New Lands builds upon the award-winning gameplay and mystery of Kingdom by introducing an abundance of new content to the IGF-nominated title while maintaining the simplicity and depth that legions of monarchs have come to experience and enjoy.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 27 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Just makes you smile playing it. A simple yet captivating little game(hope that doesn't sound too pretentious). Just oozes a fantastical style that's hard to explain. And it pulls it off with pixel graphics no less. Oh, it also happens to be fun :) At least for a few hours here and there. 9/10

Why is this rated well? Do the obtuse mechanisms provide humans with some false sense of intelligence? Genuinely confusing.
Surprised I have not typed a review for this game, since I absolutely love it~. There isn't alot to explain, but I will do my best. Gameplay wise, it's a left and right side-scroller. The goal is to work on building your little kingdom by helping your little men hunt chasing deer to them, chopping trees to bring about bunnies, and there is farms, but they aren't as useful until you can build a wall outside of them to protect them. All these 'food giving' actions actually give 'coins', that you spend to hire more people to join you as builder or archer, build walls, upgrade walls, and so forth. The gameplay is very simple and straightforward, but this game "New Lands" adds more than the "Classic" that has you survive on one land. You can now work to building a boat to travel to a new island to explore new kinds of mounts, face a little more challenge of the land expanding farther either way, and trying to conquer it all. The game is overall just easy to get in to and relax and enjoy. I find myself playing it as a simple game when I am unsure on what else I want to play or wanting to revisit and conquer the lands again. This one is like an improvement from the first with more options, and is just as fun~.
Pros:

Unique gameplay side scroller.
Easy to zone and play.
Fun to replay and come back to.
Lovely pixel art style.

Cons:

Wish the farms or farmers had a more long-term or helpful affect. I normally dont ever use them.
Some game stuttering and frame drops can come with traveling to every island, as well as having a large mass of citizens and/or blood moon creatures coming. For a 2D and small game, I'm surprised it doesn't really handle all that hoard you will have later lol. (and yes, I have a above average PC to handle it)
Overall: that is about it. No real complaints. You might be surprised that you too will enjoy playing it even if it's not like most other games you usually play. (im usually a survival crafting game player lol). Price would be worth it, but because of all the DLC of different kinds of factions releasing now, I'd suggest it on sale.

Easy to learn, and enjoyable game. New Lands lacks the quality of life improvements that were introduced in Two Crowns so it can be frustrating to wait for the ship, or watch as your carpenters kill themselves at night - I still recommend it. Story time.. While working on the 100th day achievement I found myself in the late 90's (maybe 96th day) and I had to step away for a while. Before I left I had one of 3 options. - Leave the game on? Sure, I was stacked enough to AFK the 100th night, but what if I wasn't?!. Decided not to do this. - Put the steam deck in standby? I don't know... Last time I did that it wouldn't wake up and I lost my progress.. - Save and Quit, then resume later. Safest option (or so I thought). I did this. Turns out, the save failed or was corrupted. I could not reload that game (there is only 1 save point). The game acted like my character was dead. Maybe a bug? I did already send the ship, it was just waiting on me... Ohh well. Put the game down for a while, came back and got what I was after. Frustrating but I still recommend it

Grindy game, that starts being fun and addictive that devolves with horrible AI / soldiers that turn into frustration. Lots of walking back and forth on a huge map. i'd say 30 perc limited strategy (player really doesn't have too many options, placement areas are determined for you), 70 perc walking back and forth. Your workers / soldiers are the dumbest group of npcs I've ever seen. Why as a monarch I cannot indicate where i want my archers or hunters at. Why am i defending one side of the map that i destroyed all portals when i need more troops on the other side. Something so basic is not permitted in this game. Why? there are 2 types defensive placement points, mounds of dirt for a wall and rocks for towers. You can't place these, you get what you get. Bad point is when you take down the "3rd" portal and they do a retaliation attack - you are toast because you get slammed and your towers are too far and few. I don't know if their strategy for replay value was to just make it very difficult for the player (poor balance later on) so the player just has to keep retrying starting the game over again. Another horrible implementation: the catapult. You get 1 per side, Why just one at a time? No clue, good question. it's the strongest unit imo. it goes behind the furthest wall. When the greed are attacking the furthest wall, your soldiers will start to retreat well BEFORE the wall falls (cowards) leaving your main strong unit (catapult) by itself (toast). So imagine 3 or 4 spawners at a wall, your soldiers run, and the only unit that could really take the spawners was just abandoned. Your soldiers are now behind another wall but w/o catapult (imagine infantry with no artillery support), - yep they are toast. Build a new catapult? It's also the absolutely slowest unit (boat may be slower) in the game so while you are waiting for a new catapult, any serious attack wave will demolish you. This is the level of idiocy the devs made of your soldiers. They are idiots or they intentionally did this to artificially increase the challenge and frustration? Why, what is the point of this approach? AFter 10 years still buggy mess: this time builders start a wall and never finish it. That means the greed just walk right through to your troops and kill them w/o any resistance. Hours lost because can't revert to a previous save. Google: kingdom builders stop building walls. some say a restart fixes it, but if not , HOURS gone. Also: developers: i'm an adult in control of my time. I should have the option to revert to a save and not make one mistake and have to start from scratch on island one. Unless can you program a perfect game w/o game breaking bugs, Please respect peoples time and allow loading a previous save. It's a matter of respect and working around your buggy mess.
Kingdom Two Crowns fühlt sich so viel besser an, als Kingdom New Lands. 2 Jahre Releaseunterschied bzw. Two Crowns wird noch gepatcht? Lieber Two Crowns kaufen.
